‘Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie’ Trailer!!!
IT’S HERE, IT’S HERE!
Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin try to look enthused as they pose for a picture with on-screen parents David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera in the official trailer for their upcoming flick, Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie.
In the TV movie, the Russo family embarks on a vacation to the Caribbean resort where Jerry (DeLuise) and Theresa (Canals-Barrera) first met. The adventure comedy has Alex (Gomez) upset that she must accompany her family on the trip and she ultimately conjures a spell that reverses her parents’ fateful first meeting and puts the Russo family’s very existence in question. To cancel the spell, Alex and Justin (Henrie) must set out through the jungle to find the all-powerful ‘Stone of Dreams.’ Meanwhile, Max (Austin) scrambles to make his parents fall in love again.

@DemiFan: Dude, High School Musical= GREASE-RIPPOFF! Lol NO Disney Channel movie is original. It just has to be good. But you gotta admit this is one nifty trailer for a DCOM. And this whole “parents never met” plot was used many times way before Hannah or Wizards. Phil of the Future did it too. Disney recycles ALOT of plots. For instance, school elections was used for most of their series.

Omg for once a fantasy DCOM doesn’t look corny. The music is even similar to Pirates of the Caribbean! EPIC! This is by far my most favorite trailer that Disney has ever produced. Let’s just hope the movie is just as good.
Why does it look like a theater-released movie for some reason? It doesn’t look like a cheap DCOM/
Whoa. I thought this movie was gonna be lame and be like Twitches or something. But it actually reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean, Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter. How did this not make it to the theaters?
Wow bad idea to release this movie before Princess Protection Program. This looks so awesome, I don’t even care for PPP anymore lol.

Dang Disney is gonna promote the hell out of this series this summer with this movie. Wizards will never be the same again. It will be turned into-(gulp)- Hannah Montana. ughhh…

@kevin: Um Lizzie Movie and Hannah Montana Movie didn’t do that well. Lizzie bombed with $50 million and Hannah Montana has only round up $86 million. High School Musical 3 actually did really well with $240 million earned.
Camp Rock sucked balls.

@TV: Wow I just looked that up and it’s true. There’s a Just Jared post about it from a few months ago. That Dan guy is also going to write the storyline for Camp Rock 2. omgomez ugh
