Vanessa Hudgens Takes a Music Break
Vanessa Hudgens is taking a break from musicals for a while.
The 20-year-old actress dished to MTV on the set of her new flick, Beastly, that musicals and music aren’t in her immediate future.
She shared, “I love musicals, I really do. I grew up doing them, so it’ll always have a place in my heart … at the same time, it’s nice to be able to separate the two and just be able to focus on films. It’s a lot of fun playing different characters and taking on new journeys.”
Vanessa continued, “Honestly, I’m kind of taking a break from music right now. I’m just focusing on films and acting. I feel like when I’m doing something I really want, [I] focus on that and try to not spread myself all over the place.”
Miss Hudgens is currently filming Beastly in Montreal, Quebec.

I think she’s smart to focus on one thing at a time. This is the time for her to move on in her acting career, and frankly, she won’t have much time for her music. I’d rather she work on one, and do it well, instead of spreading herself thin.
I totally agree with her choice, glad she is focusing on movies for the time being and also steering clear of musicals for a while too.

vanessa should be admired because he has a very good projects in the movies, good movies, I feel that now is the shift of vanessa sparkle in the movie … I think Zac Efron and it sparkle in his time and now it corresponds to vanessa. of all members of hsm zac and vanessa have more demand in the world of cinema at the moment; zac and vanessa have excelled in their careers as actors. vanessa does not hurt that is focused on music and is very good singer, I think that vanessa was decided because I think she has more projects to do in the movies. I am happy for vanessa for her to continue to work if that God bless her
