@Rachel: I couldnt agree with you anymore than I already do.
@DemiFan: No duh, thats why hes helping! and SPEAKING OUT!
sheesh…
@Madi hate stupid ppl: Bravo *clapping*
OMG he so cute :’) i love him.<3
well, to the people that say he is bragging, he is not. he just so happens to be one of the many people that have diabetes, my brother has diabetes, he is fine. nick is fine too. i just wanted to say too, i bet have of his fans didnt even know wat the heck diabetes was until u knew nick had it. lol anyway, i just wanted to say, he is trying to help find a cure for diabetes, not brag wat the hellll. anyway, if he always talks about it, its becuz people ask him bout it, itz not a big deal, with diabetes, all ya gotta do is take care of urself, at least thats wat ma brother has to do, and i think itz true, my brother is 6 turning 7 though. he is famous, everyone thinks itz huge but it isnt amazing, a lot of people have it. and he is a teenager, its hard to live with, thats why he wrote a little bit longer. also, i am proud of nick in the speech, it sounds professional, kinda lol. he is totally the serious one haha.
peace.love.nick lollll
@katie: the point is he acts like he is the only one with it. Stars like Pattie La belle don’t go around and around retelling her story. We already know she has it and we doin’t need to hear it over and over like a broken record. And no, I will not F**CK off, as long as people like u keeping commenting then I’m going to keep posting weather you like that or not
.@Rachel: Even if I do, that’s not going to find a cure. If that’s the way God wants them to be then I can’t help that matter. Do I want them to live with that disease.? No. Do I want your family members to keep suffering?, again, NO. I am not slendering his attempts to help I’m sledering the fact that he can’t go ANYWHERE without saying something about his DIABETES. As I said before, we don’t need to be reminded that he has it over and OVER.
@jENNY: Diebetes travels on FAMILY HISTORY just like CaNCER so if one of your CLOSE RELVATIVES have it, you are most likely open for it. So Far, I’m the only one who dosen’t have it
@#1 Jonas Brother Fan: Sweetheart. they were already looking for a cure long before Nick even walked the earth. So if they do find one. It won’t be because of Nick.
@Madi hate stupid ppl: umm, you’re stupid for trying to change my opinions dear. And if you don’t like my comments hun, BAD NEWS, there are THOUSANDS like myself that are not a fan of this BRAGGING TWAT so get ready for the others cause I am one of the MANY.
Demifan-”Even if I do, that’s not going to find a cure. As I said before, we don’t need to be reminded that he has it over and OVER.”
umm, actually they could find a cure. they’ve found a couple of things that sometimes work, but i don’t really think nick jonas is going to help it along that much. and he’s not really letting people know what it’s like at all.
@DemiFan I can understand where you are coming from. As a type 1 Diabetic I sometimes feel that Nick makes a spectacle of being a Diabetic. He does at times its more of a downer about the disease than a uplift of hope for a cure. BUT in the long run it does more good than harm to have another famous face being Diabetic with him being able to do things like this & talk to the president on the issue of funding for research. So yes he does make too much of it at times but I will also say even with that it’s nice to have a song about dealing with being a type 1.
@Brent: yeah but ” A Little Bit Longer: is not just about his diabetes is for anyone who is strugglin with losin friends and fam ECT. Nick said that on Living The Dream
@DemiFan: Okay, ya know what? You’re extremely harsh. you claim you have the right to your opinion, but so do the fifteen billion other people who have replied to you. And invalidating their feelings isn’t gonna help. Maybe try being a bit more diplomatic? If you’re irritated with it, don’t WATCH it. and btw? you’re being kind of a hypocrite, going on about how all of your family has the disease, and then critisizing a celebrity for telling about his experience. Take a chill pill, kay? if you’re that irritated with him, it shouldn’t matter what he does. And all of you extremist psycho fangirls who are getting your feathers ruffled? CHILL. Why is it of such importance to you what this girl thinks? You probably don’t even know her, and she has a right to think what she wants. Everybody needs to flipping breathe and quit attacking each other like five year olds.
excellent speech!!
he is the next president!! haha
i have family members that have this and i think its realy osm how hes abel to bring this up frount and show that it realy needs to be adressed. but does he have to be sooo serious all the time?
I’m so glad he’s so giving. You can see that his diabetes really made him think and changed him and he doesn’t want others to go through this. I think it’s just soo cute and generous of him, knowing because he’s very famous it’s gonna get attention…
Love ya Nick <333
@DemiFan: I can understand your getting annoyed with him talking about it all the time. But the thing is that he’s not the one who chooses to do so. The people who ask the questions are. He is very open with his Diabetes, to bring awareness and, thus, funds for research to find a cure. So, if and when they do ask, he answers them because if he said, “I’m sorry, do you mind if we skip that question?” it wouldn’t make any sense at all.
Other things being repeated (How’d you get started? What’s going on with the purity rings? What are your influences on this album?) I can understand why you’d get annoyed with hearing over and over again. I get annoyed hearing it over and over again. But something where he brings light to a cause, like anyone trying to bring awareness to anything, I’d hear it a thousand times and more if it helped.
And it has helped - at least one portion of his goal. He has brought awareness to the situation. Kids and their parents are more informed on this disease and that’s got a lot to do with Nick Jonas.
-Rachel.
@DemiFan:
What’s the matter with you? You are very mean with celebrities. He has a condition. He doesn’t even brag about it. You don’t hear him saying ” Oh diabetes is the best the you can have!”. And it’s not. You need to stop making fun of him right now. You have no respect for people with a condition. He isn’t just a person. He is a person with feelings just like you and me. I can see why a lot of the other people is being very mean back to you.
@DemiFan:
Will you stop being mean for once.
he so mature and smart!!!!! its really rare that u see a sixteen year old taking about diabetes!!!!!!! most of them are partying around!!
I love nick jonas! he is so inspiring!!!!!!
hello nick .. I tell you never miss the fe.el be in that situation is something difficult I know but what matters is that they can live and maintain a normal life just keep in mind that everyone is different in many ways and we all have problems life …. tu cancion de i little bit longer tells the truth because no one knows what to q is no longer continues …. everything will go well the last thing you have to lose is faith and hope god you’re a singer and super good as to let you down, not snared by a stone learn to live with it and will always have the strength to continue and move on …. I want you I love you fence very well
omg i love you and when i saw this i was even more in love with you for all the love you have
He is inspiring about finding a cure. However, at the same time, it never seemed he was pushing for this, UNTIL, he too, had diabetes. That’s what’s annoying about all celebs! They don’t push for something like finding a cure, until, they too get it themselves, or someone dear to them does. Actually, that’s how the majority of people in the world act. So, in my opinion, celebs like the JB’s are one of the best, who tries to help others, not just for themselves.
