Vanessa Hudgens Gets Sucker Punched
Vanessa Hudgens will be hopping from one side of Canada to the other this year as she’ll soon be joining Emily Browning and Abbie Cornish in Vancouver to film Sucker Punch.
The 20-year-old actress, who’s currently in Montreal filming Beastly with hunk Alex Pettyfer, dished to MTV that she couldn’t be more thrilled with the role of Blondie.
Vanessa shared, “I’m extremely excited. When I read about the project I was like, ‘That’d be great, but its not going to happen’…and now it actually is!”
Director Zack Snyder is equally as thrilled that Vanessa is going to be in his movie. He told InStyle UK, “She understood immediately what I was trying to do with the movie and has the acting chops to pull it off; her dancing background gives her the physicality to be an action star; and let’s face it, she is also beautiful.”
Sucker Punch is the story of young girl, Baby Doll (Browning) who is institutionalized by an abusive stepfather. In order to survive in this new setting, the girl retreats into a fantasy world of her own creation. It all seems innocent — if exceedingly dark — enough, until the imaginary place becomes a tool which she uses to plan an escape. Jena Malone and Jamie Chung also star.

Vanessa is very brave.she likes to try differentes characters,althought that could get a bad criticisms for her.

I adore her highlights, they are so pretty.
I love how excited she is for this. And know it’s a challenging and will be pushed to her limits to do so. Zack really sees something in her, her first choice for the character. I can’t wait for production to start.

They all auditioned for all the roles. The director offered the particular roles to the five girls he thought were best in those roles. So she was his first choice for Blondie.
This is great news because this was not just handed to her just because she has a name or is gorgeous, she went in there and earned that role for herself.
That’s why Zack Snyder told InStyle UK that she had the acting chops to pull it off, he’s seen what she can do first hand.
I’m so stoked for her. This movie will take her to a totally different level and put her in a different league.

I’m playing Blondie. It’s pretty dark Persönlichlkeit. It is difficult to implement. And it’s just really exciting. It is quite difficult to make a lot of crazy and sexy women showing what they can do. I’m very excited. I love training, and lead us pretty hard on it. I do things I never had vorgestelllt every time I go to. So I am very excited. Yes, there are many weapons in question. girls with weapons, but it sounds cool?
it is will be a film with a high tone sensuality will be very hot

She is definitely on a role here. First, Bandslam then Beastly and now Sucker Punch. YAY !! I’m so excited and proud of her. …And OMG. Zachary and Vanessa in Vancouver…OMG. My life will be complete if I ever get to meet BOTH of them. AAAHHHH !!!!
