Vanessa Hudgens Munches on French Fries & Milkshakes
Vanessa Hudgens recently sat down with Alloy.com to chat about her upcoming flick Bandslam.
The 20-year-old actress dished about going from giddy Gabriella in HSM to monotone Sa5m as well as her craziest fan encounter. Check it:
On learning to talk without any emotions: “It kind of was [hard] because I’m such a giddy person and I laugh at almost everything, so I had to refrain from that. It was a lot of fun, you know? She’s a different kind of person, so it took a lot.”
On her snacking guilty pleasure: “I like dipping French fries in a milkshake.”
On her craziest fan encounter: “Probably in Brazil. I was coming back to LA and I was with (boyfriend) Zac [Efron], and there was a security team holding hands, circling us and I was like, ‘Oh gosh, this could be a disaster. We look ridiculous!’ As soon as we walk in, I’m about to say, ‘It’s OK, you don’t have to do it,’ when a bunch of fans come running out of nowhere and it became a mob scene. It was crazy.”
On those New Moon rumors: “It was completely false. I never even talked to anyone about that movie at all. It came out of nowhere. My sister is a big fan of the books, so she’s read almost all of them and I’m friends with Nikki [Reed] who’s in that movie. So she told me about it — and I was like, ‘It would be awesome to work with you!’ But it’s not really happening right now.”

I read this interview a little while ago. It’s weird when you read something and then JJJ posts it 20 minutes later.
I just realised. This is the first time JJJ has made a reference to the fact that Vanessa is nominated for an award. Finally!! I was wondering why they never said anything about her nominations.

I enjoy reading her interviews, she always comes across as a sweet person. I like her attitude and hope she does well on everything she tries.

When the Bandslam trailer was released, many people were complaining about the way Vanessa sounds in the movie. I remembered reading somewhere why Vanessa sounds the way she does. I found the description. It’s from Wikipeidia:
Vanessa Hudgens as Sa5m[4] (Note: the 5 is silent), is described as “dark and emo” and yet a pretty 17-year-old girl. She talks slowly because she used to stutter, and the doctor told her that slowing down would help. She is Will’s girlfriend.
