Vanessa Hudgens Munches on French Fries & Milkshakes
Vanessa Hudgens recently sat down with Alloy.com to chat about her upcoming flick Bandslam.
The 20-year-old actress dished about going from giddy Gabriella in HSM to monotone Sa5m as well as her craziest fan encounter. Check it:
On learning to talk without any emotions: “It kind of was [hard] because I’m such a giddy person and I laugh at almost everything, so I had to refrain from that. It was a lot of fun, you know? She’s a different kind of person, so it took a lot.”
On her snacking guilty pleasure: “I like dipping French fries in a milkshake.”
On her craziest fan encounter: “Probably in Brazil. I was coming back to LA and I was with (boyfriend) Zac [Efron], and there was a security team holding hands, circling us and I was like, ‘Oh gosh, this could be a disaster. We look ridiculous!’ As soon as we walk in, I’m about to say, ‘It’s OK, you don’t have to do it,’ when a bunch of fans come running out of nowhere and it became a mob scene. It was crazy.”
On those New Moon rumors: “It was completely false. I never even talked to anyone about that movie at all. It came out of nowhere. My sister is a big fan of the books, so she’s read almost all of them and I’m friends with Nikki [Reed] who’s in that movie. So she told me about it — and I was like, ‘It would be awesome to work with you!’ But it’s not really happening right now.”

Too bad her first kiss wasn’t with Zac but she did have an on screen first kiss with Zac so I guess that kind of count.

…..that’s true Fries & Milkshake or Fries & sundae is not new…. Sometimes when you are in young age you do try something new or which you may think nice to taste… There is nothing wrong with it as long as your tastebuds do like it!
I dont see a Gross side as long as one eating foods in a proper way. and not in a terrible manner.

birdie, I love that about her too. She is VERy laid-back, good natured as you say, and just natural in interviews. She doesn’t ever act like anyone else, and is comfortable being herself!!

I am not saying you should try, because I get & respect your opinion. And good for you if you will not. But to others, like VANESSA did, it makes them feel adventurous while trying mix / match or vary things.. That doesnt even make them like a snake while eating it in a different combination. If passed on their tastebuds , then it would be fine.

im a big fan and i love her, being a Filipino myself. but honestly, she should stop saying “it was a lot of fun, you know?” in every interview.
she’s said that in her bandslam interview (in a blue shirt), her ET beastly interview, and now this. its getting annoying.
im not a hater ok? i just want her to improve and she should probably re-phrase her comments so as not to sound redundant.
@Cassy: And your point is? She auditioned for the part, producers liked what she could bring to the movie, she’s not the lead of the movie but she got the part the good ole fashion way. Vanessa will not please everyone each is entitled to their own opinion, freedom of choice, the least you could have done was be more sincere about your comment. There is too much hate in this world today why infest it even more, you are too young to be filled with all this hate, let it go, smile, breathe in and laugh out man I tell you it’s the best feeling in the world..

Sorry for you girl, VANESSA is such a FAMOUS STAR! And that is the very BIG POINT THAT YOU CANNOT ACCEPT compare to your favorite/s ( whoever it is) You cannot question her anymore because she got TALENT and soon that ROLE of hers as SA5M will be in theater soon.
Maybe if you are the proudcer or a movie outfit, you may give others a try what have VANESSA experiencing right now. FAME on her was attained & made through hardwork and not cutie cutie nonsense negotiation.

I always love her interviews. She’s always so natural and open that not only do you learn something new about her, you get a further insight into her personality.
I’ll admit I combine french fries and ice cream now and then when I want to indulge in comfort eating. Good to know she has a similar combo.

She’s gotta make the Guinness Book of Records for the actress that received the most attention for a role she never auditioned for nor expressed any interest in.
Even the new cast of New Moon has not received this much attention and people wonder why she’s famous.
