Zac Efron Sets Sail as Charlie St. Cloud
Zac Efron loads up in a small sailboat to get some lessons at Marina del Rey in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (June 26).
Looks like the 21-year-old actor is preparing for The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud. In the novel, cemetery caretaker Charlie’s world gets shaken up by beautiful Tess Carroll, a sailor who had plans to be one of the first women to circumnavigate the globe solo.
After some sailing lessons on the Toy Story sailboat, Zac munched on some sushi.
The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud is set to start filming in Vancouver in August this year.

No, Zac did NOT live with his parents in 2008 or even 2007. He moved to LA when he was going to go off to Toronto to film Hairspray. Even then he chose an apartment close to Vanessa and her parents. She was still living at home and his apartment was just a couple blocks from the Hudgens’ home.

Why is Zac using a Disney (Toy Story) sailboat!?! Maybe it isn’t for Charlie St. Cloud but for Pirates 4 practice! It was just in the news that Pirates 4 would be filmed sooner than thought! I know that Zac has said that he would love a part in that film. Well………….it is just a thought.

I don’t believe this little sailboat is meant to be used for the Charlie St Cloud movie, just so Zac can practice. Since he obviously has no experience with a sail boat he is being started out on just something small—hence the name Toy Story. As he becomes more familiar with what he is doing I’m sure they will go to a bigger sailboat in his “training”.

Just because one of them, or both, is filming a movie with a good looking romantic interest in it, does not mean one of them will cheat and/or end the relationship. They have been in other movies with good looking co-stars, and nothing has happened unprofessionally, or unfriendly.
Besides, Jenny, if you are that worried, Zac and Vanessa will be in Vancouver at the same time, and will be able to see each other a lot .

As far as the “Toy Story” boat, it’s because all boats are NAMED. That marina and boating learning place has a fleet of boats, and they must all be named after movies or something. Zac just happened to be learning on “Toy Story”. And he doesn’t necessarily have to move onto a bigger boat. You can learn to sail just fine on a boat that size. I did.
Zac is cool spoke with him on the phone a few hrs about micheal Jackson plus he reflected on his personal life with me in reguards to Vanessa.. can’t tell u the secrets because it wouldnt be fair to him but you will see in the coming weeks…

Do you really think anyone believes what you have written? You talked a couple hours about Michael Jackson and his personal relationship with Vanessa with Zac??? I think he met Jackson once…I highly doubt that he had that much to say about the man or that anyone would talk to someone about him for a long time on the phone unless they knew him very well and was relating stories about him over the years.
And him talking to you about his personal and private life with Vanessa? What a laugh. I don’t think he does that with even his closest friends, much less someone he doesn’t know. Also, IF you are that good of a friend to him where he might talk about something personal I highly doubt that you would go blabbing about it since Zac’s close friends seem to understand that he is a private person.
I seem to remember a poster such as yourself—but not by this name—posting a lot last year after HSM3 had finished filming and that person
was always insinuating that something was about to take place after a certain dates. Once, for example, the person was saying that Zac and Vanessa had gotten married but was going to keep it quiet until after all the promotions and premieres were over for HSM3. Many things like that were said and kept fans all up in the air all the time for weeks. So, just give it a rest while you are ahead.
