Zac Efron Sets Sail as Charlie St. Cloud
Zac Efron loads up in a small sailboat to get some lessons at Marina del Rey in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (June 26).
Looks like the 21-year-old actor is preparing for The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud. In the novel, cemetery caretaker Charlie’s world gets shaken up by beautiful Tess Carroll, a sailor who had plans to be one of the first women to circumnavigate the globe solo.
After some sailing lessons on the Toy Story sailboat, Zac munched on some sushi.
The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud is set to start filming in Vancouver in August this year.

Danielle Panabaker (or w/e her name is) just got cast in another movie so I doubt it’s her. We haven’t head anything about who’s going to play her yet, so we’ll see.

But there is no need for the ridicoulous rumors and insinuations you make about both Zac and Vanessa. Both are individuals with there own careers and goals and should be treated as such. Why is Zac using a Disney (Toy Story) sailboat!?! Maybe it isn’t for Charlie St. Cloud but for Pirates 4 practice! It was just in the news that Pirates 4 would be filmed sooner than thought! I know that Zac has said that he would love a part in that film. Well………….it is just a thought.

I don’t believe this little sailboat is meant to be used for the Charlie St Cloud movie, just so Zac can practice. Since he obviously has no experience with a sail boat he is being started out on just something small—hence the name Toy Story. As he becomes more familiar with what he is doing I’m sure they will go to a bigger sailboat in his “training”.

Zac and Vanessa are two responsible young adults. Just because one of them, or both, is filming a movie with a good looking romantic interest in it, does not mean one of them will cheat and/or end the relationship. They have been in other movies with good looking co-stars, and nothing has happened unprofessionally, or unfriendly.
Besides, Jenny, if you are that worried, Zac and Vanessa will be in Vancouver at the same time, and will be able to see each other a lot .
