Zac Efron: Shave & A Hair Cut
Zac Efron sports a short haircut as he leaves La Peer Salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon (July 2).
The 21-year-old actor, in his trademark plaid button-up, has been growing it out since promoting his blockbuster comedy, 17 Again.
Zac is set to star in the upcoming drama The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. The flick centers on a young man so stricken with grief at his younger brother’s death that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery where his brother is buried.

@Mandy: I also think these rumors fly every time one of them is away filming. When some small-minded people don’t see pics of them together every week, they assume they’ve broken up. And let’s face it….with Zac beginning to film CSC early August, and Vanessa’s schedule of Bandslam promos, and then Sucker PUnch, the rumors will not be over anytime soon. It’s up to them to either ignore them and live their lives, or prove the rumors to be true.

Oh dear..here we go again…I really don’t know why people get so worked up over these things. It’s a gossip blog rumour, one that cannot be backed up with any substantial proof, since there are no pictures. If there were of course, they would have been a hot commodity and would have sold in seconds. Secondly, Zac is not stupid, and if he were to cheat, which I don’t think for one second he would, he would not have done it at such a high profile restaurant.
I for one don’t care if he had dinner with Megan, in fact, I think it would be cool, I mean why not. For all intents and purposes, she is with BAG and he is with Van, and if they did have dinner, it would be just two friends/acquaintances, and maybe even future co-stars, who knows. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter. Just like it didn’t when he had lunch with Danielle a few months back. They are allowed friends of the opposite sex, who are or are not co-stars, just like we can in ‘normal’ life. Megan is seen as some *****, but I honestly don’t think she is anything like people think she is. She portrays a certain image in the media, but I don’t for one minute think she is some sort of home wrecker, and I think attacking her is simply unnecessary.
I know that we don’t know Zac personally, but we don’t know Van either, and for everyone who says he may cheat/has done, so may she. So what if there is no proof, or no so called rumours around her, doesn’t mean she wouldn’t. (That’s not to say that I think she would be the way, just putting it into context). By ‘law’ of the media at least, it’s always the male that the rumours get put upon because it’s so much easier to blame a male for cheating. Doesn’t mean it’s true though. I’d actually say that a woman is just as likely to cheat. Most men know where their hearts lie, and how good they have it when all is said and done. I don’t think that Zac is the type of guy to cheat, from the way he is with her, and the way he protects her and supports her, damn even the way he looks at her, you can tell the guy is whipped and totally in love with her. It’s obvious. I also think that him cheating and being that snide goes against everything anyone I have ever ‘heard’ speaking about him and how nice he is and how much he values his family and friends etc…I’d like to think they know him as a person, and can vouch for that entirely. Same goes for Van.
At the end of the day though, we can sit he and analyse this till the cows come home, but we are never going to know for sure. I will say this though. I guy doesn’t go to all the effort of flying to Canada for an extended weekend to see someone for whom he does not care about, and is not committed to. It just doesn’t happen. Not to mention that he went to see her on set, for the kissing scene no less, and was there to support her. Guys who aren’t in love don’t do things like that. Fact.
As for the hair cut, it’s for Charlie. He said he was growing it out, and the reason for that is a) his self admitted laziness and b) he will have left it so they could have it styled exactly the way they wanted to for the movie. I have to say that he does look amazing, and so much older. They did good.

I respect him as an actor but at the end of the day his longetivity will be shown by if he stays true to his fans and to himself. I kind of like his hair a little longer—not like it had gotten before the haircut, though, that was just too shaggy and unkempt. My favorite, I think, is his pictures from the Entertainment Weekly photoshoot and the cover of that magazine. I think that is my favorite length. It’s sexy, makes his look handsome, and I think mature. I don’t particularly find him looking older with his hair short. But that is not to say that he does not look good with his hair this way. I definitely like it back off is face but I don’t like it “slicked down” like he wore it at the Hollywood premiere of HSM3. For me, that look is just too severe and I don’t like the “greased” down look.

I remember, however, how he got over 1000 comments on the main board when he was filming 17 Again and there was a picture of him on set walking around with that wig which he wore in the movie. I arrived at Pace at 7:00pm with my boyfriend and a few of my close friends and family. We were having dinner and drinking and then round about 7:30pm i noticed them enter. I thought i was seeing something at first and then i realized that it was actually Zac i had to look at the girl more closely before i realized it was Megan with him. They sat down and from were i was sitting i could see Zac’s face and Megan was sitting with her back facing me. Throughout that Hour Zac had this look of love on his face when he was with Megan he kept on getting really close to her when he was talking and he was smiling and laughing with her the whole time. They were still acting like this when i left. It really did look like Zac and Megan just wanted to get a room and carry on with what they were thinking in there. Some think I write way too much on this site when I post but IF I started tearing down that story I would have a page and a half written. Why is it so all-fire important that some of you are so intent in getting this kind of gossip going? First of all as gracemarie said IF you had actually saw something you would have been the FIRST person—even before that little tidbit appeared in that unreliable gossip site—to post on every board to say just that. BUT now that everyone has tried without success to get that going and people like “ClosePersonalFriend” was shot down with their cr*p you thought you’d take a shot at it. As for some of the gossip sites who seem to wish with all their heart to get this gossip started about Megan and Zac they would like to push that these two flirted at the Golden Globes. OK, first point: Look at the pictures from that night. They tell a whole different story. It was Vanessa who Zac had eyes for and who he was holding on to, NOT even looking Megan’s direction. There were a number of sites telling how Zac and Vanessa were “spooning” at the party and how they were hanging onto each other while spending time with friends like Megan, Brittany, and Amanda. OK, which sites are wrong? I only read on account that he was flirting with Megan that night and the pictures don’t bear that out.
He went all the way across this continent to see Vanessa two weeks ago–not Fergie. I don’t believe you know just how far LA is from Montreal. He didn’t go there to do her dirty. How stupid are you? A young guy who is supposedly so horrible to a girl and has no integrity does NOT do this. Plus, there were also witnesses there who wrote how happy they were and how they were hugging each other and he was laughing with her fellow castmates. The NEWSPAPER in Montreal told how loving they were caressing each other, etc, at this concert. You just CAN’T be that STUPID, can you?
Plus, in the last few days Megan Fox was said to be with her long time love Brian Austin Green and that they took a little trip together to Las Vegas. I would say THAT means something more than dinner. However, then she was said to be seen with Shia at a restaurant with a small group where they were supposedly all over each other and how they left the restaurant together. THEN we have Megan Fox having a cozy dinner with Zac. DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE????? Last but not least have you watched Megan? She is on top of everyone. Look at some of the videos that were posted from the Golden Globes that people posted on this site. She is hugging and kissing every man she came in contact with. That seems to be her way. Se seems to need to come across and sexy all the time. That just may be her thing—I’m not trying to make her out to be anything but pictures and video are a lot more reliable than what people write.
Oh, an one other thing. IF Zac was so interested in Megan Fox at the Golden Globes then why did it take months for him to “make his move”? AND in those months he took a vacation with Vanessa to Japan, we have unmistakable loving pictures of them at the Lakers game and that concert about the same time. Then we have reports and videos of them at the MTV awards, etc. BUT you idiotic people still want us who have at least one brain cell left to take you seriously! I’m sorry but I do believe there are enough other celebrities in Hollywood who the gossip magazines and blogs can write about and who would love the exposure!

On the E! website they touched on this BUT they did not confirm it. They simply said that this is what Celebuzz was reporting.
Has anyone not thought about the fact that if this was true that someone would have dropped a message somewhere so the paps would have been waiting around outside Pace’s to get just such a pic? Paps are ruthless and everywhere. They would have paid handsomely to get a tip like that so they could get such a picture because they know they would have gotten even more money in return for selling it to every site on the web. Either this didn’t happen or it was no big deal and everyone knew it. 1) Megan stars in Transformers 2 which has been #1 at the box office for like 2 weeks straight…the media always writes/makes up tons of stories about stars that are being talked about at the current moment.
2) Hot men in commmitted releationships are boring to people in the media…its better when they are single and they can mingle.
3) Vanessa is not in LA because she is filming a movie and therefor is not able to prove right aways that the story is BS.
4) zac flew all the way to Montreal and spent a week with Vanessa a week and a half ago…Megan was spotted with off again-on again boyfriend Bryan Austin Green like the day after this “dinner”
5) tons of twitters have been saying that Vanessa is back in LA…no clue how long she has been back…but probably for a few days now since Canada recently had a national holiday too…this women could have been Vanessa…her and Megan are around the same height and have the same color of hair.
6) there is nothing wrong with Zac having dinner with a friend…to tell you the truth, Megan seems to be better friends with Vanessa than Zac. Vanessa and Megan were hand holding 24/7 at the Golden Globes and Vanessa ditched Zac on the red carpet at the MTV movie awards in favor of Megan…

Heard from a reliable source that V and Zac were spotted outside her house for a few minutes. Source suspects a party based off loud music that could be heard and lots of cars around. A shirtless male in trackpants was seen retrieving what looked like towels from a car parked otuside, the same male that was seen sticking his head outside the top patio door just before coming outside.
This person (aka the source) happened to be in the neighborhood watching the fireworks show being put on by the city.
