Demi Lovato Feeds MySpace Music
Demi Lovato takes a break after her soundcheck to chat with MySpace Music Feed in Anaheim, Calif., early last week.
The 16-year-old dished on her new album, her friendship with the JoBros and how much she appreciates her fans. Check it:
On the difference between her two albums: “On my first album there were a lot of break up songs and frustrated ones — wanting to get a lot of emotions out. I think, over the past year, I’ve learned more about myself and I learned more about song-writing and how to deal with certain situations.”
On her amazing fans: “I see them when I’m on stage and it’s awesome. To hear them singing my songs back to me…there were moments when I would watch the Jonas Brothers on stage on their When You Look Me in The Eyes Tour and I would just watch, wishing that I would be there. Now I’m seeing almost that many people, not that many people but coming really close. It makes me really proud to say that I’m the one up there.”

@a.m./p.m.: Miley’s first headlining tour The BEst of Both Worlds Tour sold out in under 2 minutes and even caused some ticket controversies. Now that’s a superstar. It’s so weird how Demi’s voice is better than Miley’s and yet she can’t beat Miley.

@Zac F Ron: I totally agree with Zac F Ron, I think Demi is way much better than Miley, I used to thing Miley could do no wrong and if anyone said anything bad about her I would go mad ect… I loved everything she did But her voice isnt as mature! She has grown alot YES and I fully respect her for that! Her voice is amazing in some of her songs and I think she’s amazing when she sings live. I havent heard Demi Sing live live infront of me only on Youtube or the telly, like I have for Miley. Demi will get there one day due to having older fans. I’m 18 and I love Miley Demi and Selena aswell as many other performers. P.S that was not a diss to Miley Demi or anyone else!
I just can’t seem to like her as much as Miley or Selena. There’s something very strange about her. I just can’t put my finger on what that something is.
@Zac F Ron: It’s because Disney has not promoted Demi like they promoted Miley. Whenver Miley has a new tour or cd is going to bre released, they always do way more promotion for Miley than Demi.
And plus, Miley has more of an audience than Demi. So yeah, Demi may have the better voice, but Miley has a bigger audience. She has even gained an older (18+) audience as well. So that’s a plus for her.
Bus as far as singing goes, Demi takes the crown. I only like Miley’s voice is slow/country like songs.

I <3 u Demi!! Can’t wait for the CD!! Like her way more than Selena and Miley! There’s just something about her…idk what it is? She’s very unique and never copies or follows others !

@Zac F Ron: Yup totally agree. If you listen to Demi’s voice, its a million times better. Miley’s Voice is just all country and she can’t really complete high and difficult notes to sing to like Demi can.
@Zac F Ron: true… but demi isn’t as popular as miley.. miley has a SHOW.. thats the big thing. plus demi looks older, so she attracts older fans. miley looks younger so she attracts younger fans. plus, miley’s music is more poppy and fun, while demi’s is more rock. &kids like pop.

Yeah, there IS something about Demi to me. I don’t know, maybe I’m just jealous but there’s something about her. Don’t start saying I’m jealous and all that. I just can’t seem to like her. She’s intriguing and unique but… Only time will tell I suppose..
