Ryan Sheckler Injured At X Games 15
Ryan Sheckler gets helped off the course by some men after an injury in the Skateboard Street Men during X Games 15 held at the Home Depot Center on Saturday afternoon (August 1) in Carson, Calif.
The 19-year-old athlete had to leave the tournament after the third heat. After making a flip, Ryan landed on the ground awkwardly and was heard saying, “It’s broken.” At the moment he had retired hurt, he had been tied at the fourth place.
Just last week, Ryan competed at the International Skateboarding Federation World Championships in Boston.

Got an update today via Twitter on Ryan’s condition. Ryan had foot surgery on his right foot today (8/7/2009). He is home, feels good, and very uncomfortable with the big cast he has — he says it has to go!
