Aly Michalka: My Favorite Book Is…
Bandslam stars Vanessa Hudgens, Gaelan Connell and Alyson Michalka have taught us that music education is very important but so are books.
The trio recently sat down with Scholastic to chat about their favorite reads.
Aly, 20, shared that her fave book is “The Bad Beginning,” the first book in the 10-book series, “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Lemony Snicket while Gaelan, also 20, prefers “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’Engle.

Anyone knows how is going bandslam in the box-office??
I mean, I just listened that on friday just got 890.000 dollars, which is not really good :S
But I also read that today they did 11.7 million dollars (in the 4th place), which is not bad at all :/
But I’m still hoping that in the end of the weekend bandslam make more, I’m hoping bandslam to the 20 millions…
Please answer me if you know that is true or not

A song of ice and fire by George R R Martin! There are a lot of twists there.
Wrinkle in Time was my favorite book when I was ten. I should check it out again to see if it still holds up now that I’m old.
Twilight sucks.
I like a lot of different books.
I can’t go see Bandslam this weekend! So sad, I went to a concert last night, and am exhausted, so I can’t see it today. And, on top of that, it isn’t at my local movie theatre, so I need to go to the next town over sometime this week or next weekend.

Yes, I did read them. They were good when I first strated reading them, and I got to like book 8, but then I got tired of them. I found another author that I LOVE!!!! Her name is Margaret Peterson Haddix. Her books are awesome! When it seems like you’ve firgured the book out, there’s another twist.

I looove Harry Potter! And Mortal Instruments! A Series of Unfortunate Events was amazing too, it was the 2nd series I ever read. But I hated the 9th one and didn’t understand all the new characters towards the end.

A Series of Unfortunate Events has to be my favorite book series. If you haven’t taken the time to read them you should because they are fantastic children books. So much attention has gone to the Twilight series and though they are great books; there is a much better selection out there.
