David Henrie: Wizards Movie Is Much More Dramatic
The Wizards of Waverly Place cast pulls and tugs at JustJared’s bright red shirt during his visit to the set of Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie in Puerto Rico earlier this year.
JJJ caught up with Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise in the tropical paradise so stay tuned for much more Wizards stuff!
David H dished to us about how the series is different from the flick. He shared, “The movie in general has a whole different vibe. When the characters are in their bedrooms talking to each other. the more real side to the characters comes out. [The movie is] much more dramatic, the moments are different and it’s more feature-esque. A lot of the problems that Justin and Alex have that don’t come out on the show. They really are brought to life in this movie and there are some great scenes with us together.”
Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie premieres TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel!

Omgosh i just finished watching the movie and it was awesome!!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH! THEY ARE ALL SO TALENTED! SELENA MADE ME CRY! woo i love the movie!
JUST WATCHED THE MOVIE, IT WAS VERY INTENSE AND AWESOME! BY THE WAY DAVID HENRI JUST KEEPS GETTING CUTER AND CUTER, LOL.
The movie was good but it wasn’t amazing or anything it had a predictable plot and you kinda knew how it was going to end and i don’t like watching movie like that the acting was good at best not like amazing this is an honest opinion
I thought the movie was amaaazing!!! That’s my opinion, I really really liked it. It actually was much better than I thought it would be. To be honest, I didn’t expect much, but I loved it. Great movie, really sad, but awesome. I like Selena again.
I thought the movie was going to be lame, and not good.
