Miranda Cosgrove: True Blood Beauty
Miranda Cosgrove stopped to say hi to JustJaredJr.com on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV VMAs last night (September 13) in NYC before heading off to the show, and later the In Touch Weekly’s ICONS + IDOLS CELEBRATION at St. Bart’s Cathedral.
The 16-year-old actress dished to us on her upcoming album, her new obsession with True Blood and expanding her career. Check it:
On expanding her acting career beyond iCarly: “I would love to get into movies. I love comedies like Mean Girls and all those types of movies.”
On her upcoming solo album: “I’ve been working on it for over a year and I’m really beginning to focus on it a bit more. It’s pop/rock music, most of the songs are pretty upbeat. It’s fun, you can dance to it.”
On if she could guest star on any TV show: Probably True Blood. “It’s awesome. I just got into it because all my friends were into it. Before, I was like, ‘That’s so silly.’ But now I can’t get enough of it. I’ve been watching it On Demand, so I’m like three episodes behind (laughs).”

come on emma give it a rest. you are the definition of a fanboy (girl presumably) the ratings for this show are killing anything disney has and i see this girl on like every talkshow lately. it just took people a while to figure out that this is a better show than certain ones over at disney or dingo. nick doesnt quite ***** their stars out to the extent that disney does. all that being said, i think the show Jonas is actually pretty good. so no, im not a one-sided fanperson like you keep making yourself out to be
