Jesse McCartney Skips Around The Star Spangled Banner
Looks like Hannah Montana isn’t the only one who forgets the lines to our nation’s anthem.
Musician Jesse McCartney skipped a line in our nation’s anthem while he was performing during NASCAR’s Pepsi 500 held at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., over the weekend.
Eek! But that’s okay, we still love him.
Jesse tweeted after the anthem, saying, “Here At the Nascar race! So much fun! Can’t believe I forgot the words to the Anthem! I’ve performed it 100 times. Bad Nerves today I guess!”

yeah I watch nascar every weekend and sorry but that was one of the worst anthems I have seen in years and I have been a fan of the sport for close to 15 years.
did I mention I am Canadian and I know the words to the American anthem?

Honestly, he was doing us a favor my skipping that line. It was one less line we had to hear of a horrible performance. Not a big deal that he messed up the words because nerves will do that to a guy, but it was painful to listen to.
hey this is much better than singing something completely different of you national anthem as sarah connor did with our germen one. gosh it was horrible. jesse sang the right things and he just forgot a line.
