Jonas Brothers: We’re Not Breaking Up!
Take it from Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas, they aren’t going their separate ways.
Earlier this afternoon mom Denise Jonas dished to Parade magazine that Nick had a side solo act called Nick Jonas and The Administration.
The brothers posted on their MySpace, saying, “The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up! Nick IS working on a side project called ‘Nick Jonas & The Administration.’ This project will be released early in 2010. We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER! We plan to make music together for as long as we can. To our dearest fans, a news story hit the internet today concerning Nick Jonas & The Administration. We are so excited to share it with you…OUR FANS.”

“From Nick:
About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its ‘heart & soul,’ because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.
We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.
My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.
I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!

We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. They are amazing works of art from an amazing talent…our brother. We will see you later this year, next year, and hopefully for the rest of our lives.

Love them. And good for Nick - I’m not surprised at all that he’s the one doing a serious side project whole the other two vacation over their weeks off. It’s always been obvious that Nick is the most serious about the music and he does so much for the band. I look forward to hearing the new stuff - and in sure it will be brilliant because Nick is deep and or someone so young - he gas so much to offer. And has been through so much and experienced so much that it’s sure to be an inspirational album to listen too.

SO not thrilled about nick having a solo cd.
i am aware he is the most intelligent musically…but joe has the better voice.
im sure ill buy it but it will just sit unopened on my shelf with theother JB cds.
I’m happy for Nick. He’s super talented and he can do a lot. I think the fans will really embrace and support Nicholas. I know I’ll support anything that he does. He’s proven what a great role model he is to the ppl that look up to him and they respect him for it.

the jonas brothers are really good singers but one day they might break-up, if that does ever happen, i think they will come back as a group again.

TRUE. Joe does have the better voice ,but Nick writes all their songs. I’m sure his songs will be great lyrically, but i don’t know about him singing by himself.

you know something? This is something that makes me happy… because Nick is going to try it as a solo artist but he is not spliting from his brothers! Nick album is going to be awesome! And he is a very deep and great songwriter, besides he has an awesome voice, I think this is going to be super good for them as a band and for Nick as a person! the jonas brothers will never break up but eventually some day down the line they will retire, as all great acts do and that reality gets more and more difficult to ignore as they grow older. i mean kevin’s getting married for christ sake and joe… joe, joe, joe… we all saw him leaving demi lovato’s house early in the morning
and for those of you that say maybe they were just hanging out and he didn’t necessarily spend the night, i have this to add… jj said that a limo picked up joe as demi and her stepdad headed elsewhere… if he didn’t spend the night why’d he need a limo to pick him up? how the hell did he get there in the first place?
sorry, i don’t care i just get sick and tired of people thinking this is the end of the world. love their music and the purity rings are great for now but if someday they decide to take them off i’m not gonna hold that against them… sadly i don’t think most people are gonna see it that way.
I’m hoping that JB will go here in our country.. I’m looking forward to see them personally.. can’t wait to hear more from “Nick Jonas and The Administration”

I am soo excited for this! Nick works hard and deserves something that he wants for himself! I’ll def buy the album and “Nick Jonas & The Administration” is catching on! I can’t wait to hear what it sounds like coming from Nick by himself! I am expecting some “Black Keys” type songs! Amazin!!!
