Emily Osment Loses Voice on The View
Emily Osment smiles as she gets the news that she can still sing while backstage at The View on Friday morning (November 20).
The 17-year-old singer told producer Jennifer Brookman that although she can’t talk, she can still sing and will be able to perform.
Emily shared, “I have a really good vocal coach and he’s taught me how to sing without using my vocal cords. So, I can sing, but I can’t talk. It’s weird.”

aww hope she feels better,but i think its funny like how on the first time she was on da view they ask if she could sing something ,and she said ugh,i have Laryngitis but she was jus playin around & now she actually has Laryngitis and have too sing haha!

@kathy: I don’t know what she means by singing without using your vocal cords, as all sound passes through the vocal cords, but I am able to sing completely normally even when I have barely any voice from illness. It is true.
