Selena Gomez Doesn’t Really Hate Twilight
Selena Gomez doesn’t honestly hate Twilight, it’s actors or the franchise.
The 17-year-old actress, who revealed to Bonnie Hunt during a taping last week that she wasn’t a big fan of the saga, caught up with E’s Marc Malkin at the 2009 American Music Awards to set the record straight.
Selena shared, “All I said was that I didn’t watch it and I felt bad for not watching it. But of course, now it’s like, ‘I don’t like it.’ That’s not the case. I feel bad and I’m sorry if I offended anyone for that.”

She shouldn’t have to apologize for not watching the movie. Not everyone likes the Twilight series, it’s understandable. But still, I’m glad that she’s setting the record straight and being mature about it at the same time. I like how she can say that she doesn’t watch it without being stuck up and rude or trying to draw attention to herself. Miley Cyrus would do well to take a page out of her handbook.

She probably apologized because she didn’t want to be quoted as saying something that she didn’t actually say. Not watching the movie and hating twilight are two different things.
