David & Lupe Archuleta Sing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
David Archuleta gets a quick kiss from mom Lupe as they sing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” during his show in Salt Lake City on Tuesday night (November 24).
The 18-year-old American Idol alum brought his beautiful mom on stage during the duet and what a duet it is!
David sings the tune on his Christmas album, Christmas From The Heart, with Charice Pempengco.

What a talented family! AND beautiful! I respect this young man so much! There hasn’t been an artist like him in such a long time!
I like his voice but the only thing that I cannot stand about him is you can hear him breathing in every time he takes a breath =/ just takes away the flow from anything he sings.
I saw David’s concert in Salt Lake City, Utah on 11/24/09. The duet with this mother was so sweet and emotional. The concert was amazing! David is a fantastic talent!!! If you haven’t purchased David’s Christmas cd “Christmas From The Heart”, be sure to buy it! It is one of the best Christmas cd’s I have ever heard!!!
#15 - You have to understand he is only singing with one vocal chord.
So this breathing may be heard now and then. The Disney kids that sing today or others can’t even sing with one. The jonas’s, lovato and all that
Disney crowd all have the same puberty, shouting sound. We need someone like David Archuleta to bring back real music.
