The film, which tells the story of two friends, Joan Jett and Cherie Currie (Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning), as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars, opens NEXT Friday, March 19th.

I was 10 years old when the Runaways formed…spent my entire jr. high years and freshman year jamming to them. What groundbreakers! I can still perfectly remember being at my friend Cindy’s house with Kathy jamming to “Cherry Bomb”… fantastic times that I will always remember! LONG LIVE THE RUNAWAYS!
