The Sparkles, who appeared on Oprah during yesterday’s broadcast, shared their story of how they got their start and what the team has meant to the parents of the special needs children.
Miley shared in her bit, “I’m really excited to meet them. I’ve heard about everything they’ve done.”
She even brought the team out on stage with her during “The Climb!” How awesome!

Cheyenne shared, “We absolutely could not have done this without being in front of 20,000 people a night. Taylor discovered us when we were out on a radio tour and there was some buzz about the band. So she just called us and invited us to go out on tour with her.”

Zac Efron suits up sharp as he arrives at the Ed Sullivan Theater for his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday afternoon (November 24) in NYC.
The 22-year-old actor and his Me & Orson Welles costar Claire Danes also appeared on The View yesterday morning where Barbara Walters pointed out Zac’s latest achievement in People mag: Best Chest!
Zac joked with the ladies of The View, “It’s an intense competition. (laughs) I had the petition with 1,000 signatures. It was like door-to-door ‘Will you sign this?’”

Justin Bieber is making headlines with his new album, My World, and sat down with Details mag to chat about his own details. Check it:
On his fans: “I met a six-month-old baby. I’ve got some young fans, but the majority of them are like 14, 15. My mom’s like 35, so she’s my oldest fan…I mean, I don’t mind it [girls throwing clothing at him]. Just kidding—it’s not something that’s cool for them to do. There was this one girl in Seattle—I didn’t even see her—she runs at me, tries to give me a hug and tackles me. It was really aggressive and scary.”
On the teen-pop scene: “I think some of it is corny, but that’s just me. I just think that if you’re a musical artist you should do something that appeals to all ages. I mean, I have songs that are about love, but I have songs that are about everyday life and stuff that people can relate to. When I was very young my parents split up, and that was hard on me. So I have a song that talks about that. I want to have a career, not just a hit.”
On the first songs he fell in love with: “‘God Is Bigger Than the Boogie Man’ from VeggieTales. And when I was, like, 7 or 6, Boyz II Men’s ‘On Bended Knee.’ My mom used to play the album over and over. I would go to my bedroom and try to do the vocal acrobatics.”

On her favorite Beatle: “I guess Paul McCartney. This is going to be a controversial thing to say, but I don’t really understand the Beatles. If Kristen were here right now, she would slap me across the face. Then again, if I ask her, ‘What’s the first line of Biggie’s ‘Juicy?’ she wouldn’t know. Why don’t people sit around and talk about Ol’ Dirty Bastard the way they do the Beatles?”
On her go-to song for karaoke: “I don’t drink, and karaoke is something you should only do drunk. But I’m obsessed with Adele. I put on ‘Chasing Pavements’ and sing it in my apartment. The great thing about Adele is if you put her on top volume, you actually sound like her while you’re singing. I’ve gotten a few complaints from the neighbors.”
On the t-shirts Joan Jett gave to her and BFF Kristen Stewart: “Kristen [Stewart] and I share a lot of clothes, so I wear a lot of Joan Jett shirts. Joan made replicas of the ones she used to wear in the ’80s and gave them to us.”

Disguised by a gray beanie and shades, Zac Efron and costar Christian McKay attend the unveiling of the Me & Orson Welles plaque at the site of the original Mercury Theatre in NYC on Tuesday afternoon (November 24).
The 22-year-old actor was also on hand to welcome Chris Welles Feder, the daughter of the late actor Orson Welles. Christian plays Orson in the upcoming flick debuting in limited theaters on Wednesday, November 25.
The plaque reads: “On this site in 1937, legendary American actor-writer-director-producer Orson Welles founded the Mercury Theatre with John Houseman. Here Welles directed groundbreaking productions of Julius Caesar, The Shoemaker’s Holiday, Heartbreak House, and Danton’s Death. Welles and the Mercury Theatre would go on to make history with The War of the Worlds broadcast and Citizen Kane. Astonishingly, he would accomplish all this by his 26th birthday.”
