78violet sisters Aly and AJ Michalka enjoy their Saturday night (October 10) out at Wonderland Club in West Hollywood.

AJ, 18, returned for a girl’s weekend from Kentucky where she is currently filming Secretariat with Diane Lane and John Malkovich.

Secretariat is the story of Penny Chenery, owner of the racehorse Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. The flick is set to hit theaters in October 2010.

Aly Michalka takes a whif of the new D&G fragrance during the 2009 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at MILK Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night (September 25).

The 20-year-old Bandslam beauty isn’t a fan of the California heat right now. She tweeted, “Why is it so freakin hot out!!!!I want Fall to be here already:( then I can put the air conditioning on and light the fireplace.”

Aly’s singing sister, AJ, is across the country in Georgia visiting friends.

The blonde bombshells also met up with Rick Allen of Def Leppard at the show. The duo tweeted about their meet and greets, saying, “[Rick Allen] wow wow wow, amazing drummer! [Robin Zander and Rick Neilson] bad ass guys! So talented.”

Aly and AJ also just returned from a short weekend trip from Lake Como, Italy. They tweeted, “Lake Como, Italy was outrageous! Had the time of our lives with @TheRealDevinB Way too short of a trip.”

78violet is set to release their third studio album later this year. Aly recently dished to Movieline about the recent name change saying, “We figured that now was the time; we’ve been making a lot of changes and our music has changed. Just listening to the record, people are like, ‘This does not sound like Aly & AJ.’ People are gonna be like, ‘This is not this band. This doesn’t make sense.’ So we decided, let’s take a chance. Let’s see what the fans say and make it official on Twitter. It just kind of happened naturally and the response has been extremely positive. The fans understand that we’re growing up and we want to take them on this journey we’ve started.”
