The 20-year-old musician is one of a few celebrities to sign a Secret Diary for DoSomething.org.

Aly, sister AJ, Selena Gomez and Emily Osment all autographed a commemorative case that is specially designed to hold a Secret Diary, which is a tiny electronic diary that can only be accessed with a PIN entered on the key pad.

The auction will run until next Friday, February 5th, and all proceeds will go to benefit DoSomething. You can check out all the diaries at BiddingForGood.com.

Earlier in the day, the 78violet sisters lunched with long time friend and Secret Life of the American Teenager star Renee Olstead. They tweeted, “So awesome having lunch with @Renee_Olstead. Nothing better than good food and good girl talk :)”

AJ, 18, recently chatted with Starry Mag about their upcoming record. She shared, “My sister and I just recent wrapped up our latest record and that’s going to be coming out next year. We’re really, really excited, we’ve been working on it for a while now. We’ve got lots of new material, new songs, new style. Aly and I are really excited about the new sound. It’s still definitely Aly & AJ, but it’s a revamped more Rock in your face version of it. Also, I really feel like instrumentally it’s just a whole other level now.”

Aly, 20, looks to be sporting a new silver hoop nose ring. What do you think of it?

AJ Michalka just premiered her new flick, The Lovely Bones early this week and is stoked about the release.

The 18-year-old singer/actress recently say down with Inspire Magazine to chat about her role as Clarissa, costar Saoirse Ronan and just exactly what 78violet means. Check it:

On The Lovely Bones: “I was already a huge fan of the book. It’s such a moving story! [There's an] element of imagination. [Peter Jackson, director] stayed very true to the book. There’s [just] so much pressure that goes into adapting the screenplay from ["The Lovely Bones"]! [They]did an amazing job with capturing all the emotions of the Salmon family.”

On the real meaning behind 78violet: “Aly’s favorite number has always been 7 [and] mine has always been 8. [78 is actually] the chemical element Platinum that is resistant to corrosion. The color violet has always been very poignant in our lives. It has the highest vibration of all the color rays. It is the color of ‘creativity and intuition.’”

On Clarissa, her role in The Lovely Bones: “[I was] thankful and extremely happy. Clarissa is very much a part of a big turning point in the book and film. There’s a maturity and a bit of a wild side. I had seen Saoirse Ronan in Atonement, she is so talented!”

78violet sisters Aly and AJ Michalka enjoy their Saturday night (October 10) out at Wonderland Club in West Hollywood.

AJ, 18, returned for a girl’s weekend from Kentucky where she is currently filming Secretariat with Diane Lane and John Malkovich.

Secretariat is the story of Penny Chenery, owner of the racehorse Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. The flick is set to hit theaters in October 2010.

Aly Michalka takes a whif of the new D&G fragrance during the 2009 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at MILK Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night (September 25).

The 20-year-old Bandslam beauty isn’t a fan of the California heat right now. She tweeted, “Why is it so freakin hot out!!!!I want Fall to be here already:( then I can put the air conditioning on and light the fireplace.”

Aly’s singing sister, AJ, is across the country in Georgia visiting friends.
