Harry Potter bad boy Tom Felton keeps it casual as he attends the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere held at NYC’s Ziegfeld Theater on Thursday night (July 9)

The 21-year-old actor dished to USA Today about his character, Draco Malfoy’s transformation through the film. He shared, “He’s been given a task to obtain the same greatness as Harry has, working for the other side. He thinks he’s going to do it, and he revels in the chance to be the chosen one, if you will. He likes to think he’s equally strong-willed as Harry, and whatever Harry can do, he can do better. But deep down, he knows he can’t do it. There’s a real conflict of emotions.”

Tom will also be Hot Topic store at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ starting at 7PM. He’ll be autographing a special-edition Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince posters for the first 750 fans!

Actresses Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch show off their stunning dresses as they attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince held at Odeon Leicester Square in London on Tuesday night (July 7).

Bonnie, 18, recently caught up with the L.A. Times and revealed that Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ginny’s moment is different than in the book of the same name. She shared, “Their relationship sort of slowly builds and there’s this tension between them. Just when you think the kiss is going to happen, it doesn’t. It’s really a sweet tale of how they’re slowly getting drawn to one another. Obviously, it’s very difficult for Harry with Ginny being his best friend’s younger sister. But the kiss itself happens in a much more intimate environment. It’s just the two of them rather than in the midst of the Gryffindor common room celebrating Quidditch. It’s a bit quieter in the film.”

Emma Watson’s curls take on a life of their own in this new still from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

In the upcoming fantasy flick, emboldened by the return of Lord Voldemort, the Death Eaters are wreaking havoc in both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) suspects that new dangers may lie within the castle, but Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. He needs Harry to help him uncover a vital key to unlocking Voldemort’s defenses–critical information known only to Hogwarts’ former Potions Professor, Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent). With that in mind, Dumbledore manipulates his old colleague into returning to his previous post with promises of more money, a bigger office…and the chance to teach the famous Harry Potter.

The 18-year-old actress was joined by costars Tom Felton and twins Oliver and James Phelps. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters on Wednesday, July 15.

The Harry Potter promotional train, launched by Warner Bros, will be on tour in ten other French cities until June 21.
