Check out the new poster and trailer for Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel!

The flick, featuring the voice talents of Jesse McCartney, and starring Kevin Schmidt, Chris Warren Jr and Good Luck Charlie’s Bridgit Mendler, opens in theaters on Christmas Day.

In the movie, Alvin, Simon and Theodore are introduced to the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.

Bridgit Mendler has scored her very own TV show! It’s a live-action comedy series on Disney Channel called Good Luck Charlie.

The 16-year-old actress will play Teddy Holliday alongside Jason Dolley, who plays her brother Casey.

The series follows Teddy, Casey, and their 10-year-old brother Gabe (Bradley Perry), whose parents enlist their help when they return to work after the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte, aka Charlie. With their parents juggling full time careers, the older Holliday siblings pitch in, getting very familiar with baby formula, burp clothes and babysitting while navigating typical teenage life.

Good Luck Charlie won’t premiere until 2010 but you can watch Bridgit guest star on Wizards of Waverly Place next Friday, July 24 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel. If you haven’t already, check out promo pics from the ep!

Bridgit Mendler and Selena Gomez get their Thriller-groove on in this new still from Wizards of Waverly Place.

In the upcoming episode, “Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies” - Justin (David Henrie) convinces Juliet (Mendler) that their prom date will be the most memorable ever. Meanwhile Alex (Gomez) opts to plan a zombie themed anti-prom, but is unprepared for the unexpected real zombies that arrive for the ultimate prom dance off.

In the upcoming episode “Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites,” Justin’s (David Henrie) new vampire girlfriend Juliet (Bridgit Hendler) gets the Russos to change their lifestyle by adding healthy foods and exercise. However, Alex (Selena Gomez) is concerned about Juliet’s true intentions for Justin when she discovers that vampires like the taste of healthy blood.

David Henrie and Bridgit Mendler share a sweet smile in this new still from Wizards of Waverly Place.

In the upcoming episode “Wizards vs. Vampires On Waverly Place,” when business at the Waverly Sub Station slows after the opening of a new neighborhood sandwich shop owned by vampires, Jerry (David DeLuise) sends Justin (Henrie) to spy. But Justin meets and ends up falling for Juliet (Mendler), the daughter of the competing shop’s vampire owners.

JJJ Fun Fact: Bridgit was also Nick Jonas’s love interest in the premiere episode of JONAS.
