Chloe Bridges keeps it classic in a fitted black dress as she steps out at the opening night of STOMP at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday night (January 26).

JJJ recently caught up with Chloe, 18, and Demi Lovato, 17, on the set of Camp Rock 2 in Canada and were surprised to hear that Chloe was almost Mitchie in the original DCOM.

Demi dished to us, “She auditioned for Mitchie — it was down between me and her for Mitchie - and I remember meeting her at the auditions and thinking she’s such a sweet girl and she’s so nice. [The next time] I met her for the first time after the auditions was at dinner one night for a cast party, I didn’t even recognize her because she grew up and got really, really gorgeous and she’s so nice - she’s awesome.

“Then it dawned on me the next day — I was, like, oh my gosh, we’d already met! I felt so embarrassed. I went up and told her, we laughed about it and we’ve already become really close friends ’cause she’s just hilarious and she shared awkward moments with me and it’s great. We’ve had fun.”

Chloe Bridges and Demi Lovato hit it off right from the start on the set of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.

The 18-year-old actress revealed about their friendship to Popstar! mag, “We just understand each other. Most times, it’s us putting on makeup, actually. I’ll go to her house and we probably spend way too much in front of her mirror (laughs). We always have a good time.”

It was recently announced that Chloe has been cast in a still-untitled ABC Family pilot with Vanessa Marano and Joey Lawrence.

The 17-year-old Camp Rock 2 star also attended Variety’s 2009 Power of Youth event held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Chloe was just cast in a new ABC Family pilot. According to THR, in the “Untitled Michael Jacobs Project,” a young dad recently laid off from his architecture firm begins to identify with and mentor his underdog middle daughter, while his veterinarian wife shares a closer bond with their Type-A older daughter. The two philosophies on parenting and life highlight differences within the family.

Chloe recently caught up with JJJ and dished about bonding with costar Meaghan Martin over their love for Harry Potter. She shared, “Harry Potter - I don’t know if that’s really guilty ’cause I’m not ashamed of that at all. I’ll tell everyone that I’ve read all 7 of those books no less than 20 times each but yeah, I’m obsessed. Me and Meaghan actually have that in common. We were talking…’What do you do when you get sad?’ ‘I read Harry Potter.’ ‘Me too! Wow, we’re so weird!’ (laughs) Yeah, we’re like that.”

Demi Lovato makes a star-studded heart behind-the-scenes at her “Remember December” photo shoot in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The 17-year-old songstress called on her Camp Rock 2 costars Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Chloe Bridges and Meaghan Martin to recreate the 1980s.

Anna Maria loved the vintage Lincoln Continental the girls were driving around in. She tweeted, “Yay for driving in a vintage continental.”
