Check out the new poster and trailer for Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel!
The flick, featuring the voice talents of Jesse McCartney, and starring Kevin Schmidt, Chris Warren Jr and Good Luck Charlie’s Bridgit Mendler, opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
In the movie, Alvin, Simon and Theodore are introduced to the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.

Chris Warren, Jr. cozies up to his mom Brook Kerr as they attend GBK’s Pre MTV Pool Party in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (May 29).
The 19-year-old High School Musical hunk will star in the upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel as Xander. The flick, due out Christmas Day 2009, will introduce the Chipettes into Alvin, Simon and Theodore’s lives.
Fun fact about Alvin: Jesse McCartney voices Theodore.

Olesya Rulin gets a great big hug from good pal and 17 Again leading man Zac Efron on Tuesday night (April 14) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The former HSM costars caught up on the red carpet. It was almost like a Wildcat reunion! Monique Coleman even got a hug from on-screen best friend Vanessa Hudgens. Chris Warren, Jr. also showed up to give their support.

High School Musical’s resident baker celebrates his 19th birthday today!
Chris Warren, Jr., is most famous for his role as Zeke Baylor in the popular HSM movies, but did you know that he’s also a soap opera star? He followed in his mom Brook Kerr’s footsteps, playing Jimmy Ramírez on the popular daytime show, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Chris also starred in Depth Charge, a remake of a made-for-TV movie about a nuclear submarine that is high jacked.
