Lucas Grabeel snaps a pic backstage as he visits bud Corbin Bleu after a performance of In The Heights at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in NYC on Sunday night (August 8).
The “I Don’t Dance” singers and former HSM costars were joined by Jordin Sparks, who’s learning the backstage ropes from Janet Dacal.
Lucas‘ sister and assistant Autumn (not pictured) also enjoyed the show.
Corbin’s run in ITH will end on Monday while Jordin will start hers on August 19th.

Corbin Bleu and Janet Dacal look on as Rebecca Cunarro receives a check from the In The Heights cast in NYC on Thursday night (July 29).
The ITH cast partnered up with CLEAR CHANNEL NY to award the very first “Graduate to New Heights Scholarship” to Rebecca who was surprised with the news at curtain call. Corbin, 21, was spotted out at the DKMS Swab Meet earlier this month which drew close to 2,500 people who were inspired by 11-year-old Shannon Tavarez, star of Disney’s The Lion King.
Shannon is still fighting leukemia and has yet to find a match. Corbin and Trent Kowalik were on hand volunteering with DKMS and also got swabbed in the hopes of becoming a match for Shannon or someone like her.

Corbin Bleu carries a cute lil pup in his arm as he arrives at the 2010 Broadway Barks Adopt-a-thon held in Shubert Alley, NYC on Saturday afternoon (July 10).
Last year, more than 200 cats and dogs from 27 participating shelters and rescue groups were adopted on one glorious day. This year’s event was hosted by Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters.
Corbin recently launched a new social network on TODHD.com. The new network will allow his fans to connect with him in a whole new way. Check out the site and Corbin’s twitter for more information.

Showing off his muscles, Corbin Bleu uses his night off to catch the premiere of The Last Airbender held at NYC’s Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday evening (June 30).
The 21-year-old actor, who is still on Broadway’s In The Heights as Usnavi, chatted with JJJ recently about what he plans to do after his run is over. Corbin shared, “Probably back to LA. I’m looking forward to getting back into TV and movie acting and maybe going back to the studio. Not necessarily to make another album, but just to be back in the studio, making music.”

With a full tummy, Corbin Bleu takes you on a backstage tour of his day at The Richard Rodgers Theatre before he performs in In The Heights.
JJJ recently caught up with the 21-year-old Broadway actor backstage at the show. When we asked about if he had a relationship that mirrored Usnavi and Nina’s in real life, he shared, “You know, I do. My dad [David] is really my best friend. I can really go to him with pretty much everything and he’s not only there as a father but as a friend as well. My eldest sister, Hunter, I’m also really close with her.”
Corbin jokes in the video after opening his Snapple drink, “Real Fact #897. The Mayflower only held 102 people. Hmm…what kind of puny ship is that?” LOL!

Just a week after JJJ saw him on stage and getting the scoop of his future plans, Corbin Bleu has signed on for an additional three weeks to play Usnavi in In The Heights.
According to BroadwayWorld, the 21-year-old stage and screen actor will finish out his run on August 17 — just two days before Jordin Sparks takes her place as Nina.
Corbin told JJJ prior to this news about his future plans, saying, “I’m looking to go back to L.A. for a while. There are a few film projects that might be in the works, and maybe going back into the studio just to dabble a bit in music.”

Corbin Bleu squishes himself in the middle of a large group of students as he attends the 2010 Broadway Junior Student Share held at the Majestic Theatre in NYC earlier last week.
The 21-year-old actor caught up with JJJ backstage after a performance of In The Heights last week and loved hearing about his very special Mother’s Day.
When asked who he was most excited to see, see him on the Broadway stage, Corbin shared, “My dad actually brought my grandmother and great-grandmother last weekend (around May 8) to see the play. My great-grandmother is 93! It was so great they came.”
