Starstruck costars Sterling Knight and Danielle Campbell take a stroll along Venice Beach boardwalk as they shoot the final scenes for their DCOM on Wednesday afternoon (October 30).
Sterling, 20, recently chatted with JJJ about his new costar Danielle, 14.
He shared, “She’s really cool and she’s way beyond her years, which helps for the character, definitely. She’s a really, really mature, hard-working girl. The first time we met, it was cool - we kind of had this weird connection instantly and I go out of my way to pick on her all the time, so she can really dislike me throughout the movie.”
Starstruck, premiering in February 2010, follows Jessica Olson (Campbell), a down-to-earth girl from the Midwest who collides — literally — with Hollywood’s teen heartthrob, pop star Christopher Wilder (Knight). They wind up on a love-struck adventure in Southern California, but their bond is tested when she returns home and he publicly denies their relationship.
