V Factory’s Wesley Quinn and Asher Book get silly backstage at NewPhoria in Orem, Utah over the New Year holiday.
Wesley, Asher, Nickt T and Jared Murillo hung out backstage with David Archuleta and HSM starlet Ashley Tisdale (she’s dating Jared Murillo).
Asher is currently filming Fame in NYC, out in theaters in September.

While getting ready for his concert tonight, David Archuleta updated his official site for all his fans.
The 18-year-old American Idol alum writes, “I’m reporting from Virginia, where we have our first 2 tour shows! Really exciting stuff. I’m really nervous! Ah! But I can’t wait at the same time! We’ve been practicing and practicing and practicing. It’s so weird to go on my very own tour, it doesn’t feel real!
“All last week has basically been me and the new band getting ready for tour. They’re all really fun to work with and really talented. It’s fun just hanging out with them and we have a good time rehearsing, even though it’s a lot of work. When we rehearse, it’s basically just running through all the songs all day long. We try to tweak them, and see what we can add to it to make it more fun. It’ll be fun to just get out there and sing, and I think you guys will have fun listening to the new songs from the album! I’m excited to perform them.”

After a busy week, David Archuleta finally got a chance to pop in on his MySpace.
Check out what the 18-year-old performer had to say: “Hey guys! So I’m going to try and summarize this week since it was a pretty crazy one. We were able to look around the island of Oahu and do a lot of neat things there. We first went to the Sea Life Park and saw a dolphin show there. Then, we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a luau and saw the incredible show about all the different cultures of the Islands. Some other things we got to do were have shaved ice at Matsumoto’s, go to the Dole Pineapple Plantation, a macadamia nut store, and see a few beaches. we had a really really good time, and I have fallen in love with Hawaii. I want to go back soon! It’s funny because even when it was like 70 degrees, people who lived there were saying it was cold. I loved it.”

David Archuleta popped in from sunny Hawaii to update his fans on what he’s been doing.
Check out what the 18-year-old “Crush” crooner wrote in his MySpace, “Aloha! I’m here in sunny Hawaii, and it’s so nice here. I sang at the Pro Bowl yesterday, and that was way cool. Enrique Iglesias and Ciara sang during the halftime, and that was fun to watch because we got to watch from the field. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Ciara, but Enrique was a cool guy. He’s tall though! I didn’t realize how tall he was. He’s 6 ft. 2 in. haha.
“The day before the Pro Bowl performance I sang at Ohana Day where people can watch the players practice. I sang ‘A Little Too Not Over You’, and it went well. Today we’re going to try and look around the island and be tourists haha. It’s so beautiful here, and I forgot how much I miss hot humid weather. It’s been a long time since I haven’t worn a scarf and jacket, because even last year during spring and summer we were always inside cold studios or arenas. Oh you know what’s funny is while I was in the LAX airport for my layover, I ran into Cook and his gang. We were in the same gate area. Only he was headed to Florida, and I was leaving Florida. So before we went to Hawaii, I was in Florida doing promo. What was shocking is how cold it was there! I didn’t think I’d have to wear a jacket and scarf there, but it felt like Utah weather at some points.
“It was really fun traveling around though, and I got to see my family when we were in Central Florida. I also got to visit a Children’s Hospital in Daytona Beach, that they called Speediatrics haha. It was really neat. But I’ll be heading back to Florida after Hawaii for the Disney thing this week, so I’m excited! I’ve been trying to not adjust to Hawaiian time, because I’m already in the Florida time zone mode lol. But I can’t wait for the Disney thing! This Saturday they showed the iCarly episode on Nickelodeon, so for those of you who watched it I hope you had fun! I had so much fun hanging with Miranda [Cosgrove]. Don’t forget to watch this weekend too! I’ll be performing ‘A Little Too Not Over You’ this Saturday on Nickelodeon, so fun stuff!”

The 18-year-old “Crush” singer was just in Florida the past week, where he made his own pizza pie and performed for a crowd of over 500 fans. We think there was more than 500 fans today!

David Archuleta and Miranda Cosgrove stick close together as they invite MTV’s Buzzworthy for a sneak peek at “Crush Night.”
The duo will host the Nickelodeon special event, which will lead up to a brand-new episode of iCarly, starring David!
In “iRocked the Vote,” David plays a contestant on “America Sings” who appears on Carly’s show before defeating his rude competitor, Wade King.

David Archuleta proudly shows off the pizza he helped make at Vic and Angelo’s restaurant on Wednesday afternoon (February 4) in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
The 18-year-old American Idol alum kept warm next to the coal fire oven on the coldest day of the season for Florida. After perfecting his pizza masterpiece, David performed for 500 plus fans in the parking lot!
David will next be seen hosting “Crush Night” on Nickelodeon with Miranda Cosgrove, this Saturday, February 7th. Be sure to tune in!
