The 16-year-old singer/actress dished to the online mag about her own fashion style, music being her first passion and about her new album, Here We Go Again. Check it:

On her new found love for acting: ” [Music is] my first love. Acting is just kind of a way to pay for the singing. I mean, not anymore. Acting now is like a new challenge, new hobby, a new passion even.”

On making decisions on what she wears out: “Sometimes when I want to wear a really hot skirt or something, I think, ‘Would you want your little sister to wear that skirt in two years? No.’”

On the feel of her new album, Here We Go Again: “[It's] more relaxed and more mature. [The songs are] pretty much just heartbreak. I had fallen in love and then my heart got broken. I had never fallen in love before, so that was interesting.”

On pulling one particular song from the record: “When I took a step back, I realized I wouldn’t like those subjects being talked about in somebody else’s home, with a seven-year-old and their mom.”

Last year, Demi Lovato caught up with Popstar! magazine on the set of her upcoming DCOM, Princess Protection Program, and dished on the most princess-y thing about herself.

The 16-year-old actress shared, “Heels. Princesses have to wear heels. I started in pageants so I had to adapt to the princess life.”

BFF and costar Selena Gomez also revealed her own princess quality. She shared, “I love to help people — a lot, which is a thing that princesses do.”

Princess Protection Program premieres THIS FRIDAY, June 26 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Demi Lovato smile softly in her brand-new PSA for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

The 16-year-old asks everyone to text GIVE to number 24357. She shared, “You can donate $5 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. They can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster.”

The 16-year-old actress, in a one-shoulder white Tadashi Shoji dress and Stuart Weitzman heels, recently dished to the Associated Press that she treasures the friendship that she and Demi share.

Selena shared, “You should be there for someone, and I think you should be honest with someone. I don’t think it’s healthy to go around gossiping and telling other people (things). I think it’s nice to just sit down with someone and tell them how you feel and get it off your chest.”
