JJJ is super excited about Jordin Sparks acting debut on The Suite Life on Deck tonight and couldn’t help asking our pal Doc Shaw all about working with the American Idol champ.

Doc, 17, spilled a secret about Jordin and the plot, saying, “My character, Marcus is a little nervous around Jordin because he used to know her. There will be a little set up there. It was great working with Jordin Sparks.”

In TONIGHT’s episode “Crossing Jordin,” when recording artist Jordin Sparks comes aboard the S.S. Tipton for a concert, Zack, Cody (Dylan, Cole Sprouse) and Marcus (Shaw) write a song for her to sing. Meanwhile, London (Brenda Song) brings her number one fan on board and discovers she is really trying to steal her identity.

“Crossing Jordin” premieres Friday, October 23 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Doc Shaw’s debut episode on The Suite Life on Deck premieres TONIGHT!

In Doc’s debut episode, “Roomies,” Zack’s (Dylan Sprouse) new roommate, Marcus (Shaw), moves in and there’s something mysterious about him.

When the gang discovers that Marcus was a famous child singer, Zack takes the opportunity to show him what he missed as a “normal” kid growing up, and together they wreak havoc around the ship, forming a strong bond.

Doc Shaw cleans up nice as he arrives at the D23 Expo held at the Anaheim Convention Center on Sunday afternoon (September 13) in Anaheim, Calif.

The 17-year-old actor is set to make his debut in The Suite Life on Deck next month on October 16th. Doc plays Marcus Little, a former singing sensation whose career started to dwindle and eventually died out when his voice changed.

Doc wrote on his official website about his character, “Marcus Little a.k.a. Lil Little’s back story is that I was once on top of the game as the king of pop music and my hit single was retainer baby. After that hit, I fell off and made no other music that would sell. Now I’m on the boat [S.S. Tipton] trying to reinvent myself.”

In the new episode “Kitchen Casanova,” when their cooking teacher accidentally gets injured, Cody (Sprouse) fills in and becomes the rock star chef that all the girls fawn over. So when Bailey (Ryan) tries to get Cody’s attention, he ignores her to hide his true feelings for her.

Meanwhile, London (Brenda Song) tries to pass off Zack’s (Dylan Sprouse) artwork as her own, and ends up selling it to a patron for much more than it’s worth.
