Tiya Sircar is headed to Mystic Falls!

The former 17 Again actress will play Amiee Bradley, a high school student who becomes involved in the supernatural activities in town on the CW’s Vampire Diaries.

Tiya shared, “It’s been so much fun working with such a great cast. I’d love to come back for more episodes, but nobody is safe in Mystic Falls! Working with the boys in this show could make a girl’s head spin. They’re all so easy on the eyes. But what’s better, they happen to be really sweet as well.”

While Tiya’s Amiee will first appear in the September 23rd episode, you can check out some promo pics from Vampire Diaries’s premiere!

The 21-year-old actress took home the surfboard for Choice TV: Female Breakout Star and Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi. Nina tweeted after the show, “Thank You Thank You Thank You - Can’t thank all the fans enough! You’re all incredible, you are the reason we do what we do!”

Nina Dobrev keeps close to pal Kellan Lutz as they attend the EW and SyFy party during Comic-Con 2010 held at Hotel Solamar in San Diego on Saturday night (July 25).

The 21-year-old actress also stopped by The Wired Cafe and the MySpace and MTV Tower to chat about Vampire Diaries.

Nina caught up with EOnline and revealed that you’ll see a whole lot of Katherine in Season 2. “Last season I got to do it very little. I mostly played Elena and we teased to Katherine a little bit, but this year there’s gonna be a lot more Katherine. She’s back and she’s wreaking havoc and she’s up to no good. So it’s gonna be fun to kind of step into Damon’s shoes a little bit and play with them and mess with everyone’s minds,” she shared.

Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley share a quick conversation about Ian Somerhalder’s bad boy Damon in this new trailer for The Vampire Diaries.

The series, which is about a high school girl (Dobrev) torn between two vampire brothers (Somerhalder, Wesley), returns for a second season on Thursday, September 9 @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Nina Dobrev is all smiles as she sits pretty during a Vampire Diaries convention held in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday afternoon (July 4).

The 21-year-old actress was joined by costars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley at the convention. The trio answered fan questions and also shared stories from the set.

During the convention, there were also a variety of events,such as auctions, raffles and trivia.

Nina Dobrev keeps it fun and fresh as she attends the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Monte Carlo TV Festival held at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel on Wednesday afternoon (June 9).

The 21-year-old actress switched things up with an elegant gold gown at the closing ceremony on Thursday evening (June 10).

Costar Paul Wesley told press at the Q&A session earlier in the week that Stefan and Damon [Ian Somerhalder] could possibly switch personalities in the upcoming season.

He shared, “I think depending on the situation and the circumstance that it can happen. Damon will be nicer and Stefan more violent and then they will switch again…If Stefan loses Elena, even for a moment, he loves her and I think he could do anything.”
