Movie summary: Water. Earth. Fire. Air. In the old days, there was peace between the four nations of the world. The Avatar — Master of all four elements — kept peace between the the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Only the Avatar has the ability to Bend (manipulate) all four elements, but one day, he vanished. Then the Fire Nation attacked, forcing a war on the other three nations for one hundred years.

Now, for the good of the world, it’s up to 12-year-old Aang (Noah Ringer), the new Avatar, and the last of the Air Nomads (Airbenders), to return peace and balance by putting an end to the war and mastering all four elements. Aang must accept his destiny by stopping the Fire Nation’s war and defeating the Fire Lord for good.

It’s a Jackson Rathbone update!

The 25-year-old actor and his band 100 Monkeys have teamed up with Characters of Character, a nonprofit organization that teaches children core values and for a small donation, you can be entered to win an autographed copy of their album, Grape.

All proceeds go directly to our nonprofit and into a specific fund to help create a facility for children and their families to come to learn more about character. The organization encourages parents to bring their children (most likely once a week) to discuss a character trait and do an art activity to go along with that trait.

Also, 100 Monkeys is headed to Texas in April to play a benefit concert in memory of Spencer Bell.

Jackson Rathbone holds up a light in this new teaser for the upcoming The Last Airbender that was shown during Sunday night’s (February 7) Super Bowl game.

The action flick, which was written, produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, follows the adventures of Aang (Noah Ringer), a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

The Last Airbender, also starring Dev Patel and Nicola Peltz, hits theaters July 2nd. Will you go see it?

Jackson Rathbone is taking over Texas for a good cause — playing tribute to his lost pal Spencer Bell and to raise awareness for adrenal cancer.

100 Monkeys (Jackson’s band) will host a tribute concert this coming April in Dallas, Texas.

The Stevedores, Drew and the Medicinal Pen, and Tin Tin Can are just three of the bands that will join 100 Monkeys to raise awareness for adrenal cancer and celebrate the life and music of Spencer Bell including playing songs from Spencer’s albums.

In addition to hearing great music, fans will also be able enter special contests with prizes that include meeting the band and showing off their artistic abilities at the concert itself. Contests include a music video contest, a t-shirt design contest (which will be sold and produced through the Spencer Bell Legacy Project), a raffle with celebrity donated items, and a special auction.

Jackson Rathbone takes a bite into his banana birthday cake as he celebrates his 25th birthday at The Bank at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday night (December 18).

The Last Airbender actor has seen his latest flick, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, stay in the top movies since it’s opening in November. The movie, as of Sunday, has earned around 274.5 million dollars. WOW!

Jackson Rathbone pals around with costars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz during the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon held at Mann’s Village Theater on Monday night (November 16) in Westwood, Calif.

The 24-year-old actor dished to USA Today on the red carpet about his family’s support.

Jackson shared, “I have my family in town. It’s a wonderful moment to see them again. My mother loves the media attention we get, because she can keep track of my whereabouts. If she hasn’t heard from me in a few days, she looks on my fan site to see where I am.”

The duo joined up with costars Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz for the interview where they dished on the meaning of love, soulmates and relationship deal-breakers. Check it:

Ashley on soulmates: “Gosh, I hope so. I’m a strong believe in chemistry [too]. It has nothing to do with what you want, just how your chemicals react with each other.”

Jackson on love and lust: “Lust tastes like tequila and love tastes like whiskey. Love burns for longer and warms you up on the inside and sometimes it makes you do stupid things. Tequila just makes you wasted.”
