The 17-year-old actress quickly introduces the guys and they joke a bit about being snappy. Jennette posted in the notes section, saying, “We all had so much fun hanging out at this promo-shoot, shot at Paramount Studios.”

Big Time Rush is about four best friends who get the opportunity of a lifetime to move to LA and be in a music group.

iCarly costars Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor are heading to Canada to film Nickelodeon’s new original television movie, Best Player.

Best Player follows Quincy (Trainor), a thirty-something baggage handler by day and online video game master (known simply as “Q”) by night. Perfectly happy to live in a tricked-out basement in his parents’ home, Quincy has dedicated his life to being the best cyber multi-player athlete online. But Quincy’s world gets turned upside down when his parents decide to sell their house and move to Florida. His only chance to maintain his “perfect” life is to enter a tournament introducing a brand-new video game — Black Hole — and win the prize money to buy his parents’ house. As the current multi-player champion, Quincy thinks it’s a done deal… until he encounters “Prodigy” (McCurdy), who threatens to annihilate him.

Shooting for the film begins next week in Vancouver and will premiere on Nickelodeon in 2010.

Jennette McCurdy has been bitten by the traveling bug!

The 17-year-old actress popped in on her official website to update her blog and shared that she’s heading to Vancouver next!

Jennette shared, “Last time I wrote to you guys, I had been in Nashville for over 5 weeks. I went to LA for five or so days and then (you guessed it!) went right back to Nashville! During that second trip, I wrote songs with some of my very favorite Nashvillians, sang demos, and had tons of meetings. I also went to the Keith Urban and Friends All in the Hall Concert – which was INCREDIBLE! Every single performer was awesome – such a joy to watch. Then, to be able to talk to these ridiculously talented people and realize that they’re so kind is too cool!

“Nashville is so amazing. If you haven’t been there, you’ve GOTTA go. The trees are so beautiful, they’re like a postcard! You’re surrounded by great music everywhere you go. And the coolest part of all? The people. Everyone in Nashville is so genuinely nice and they truly have this wonderful sense of community… I really can’t get enough of Nashville. If you take my advice and decide to take a little trip there, I’ll probably see ya.”

While Miranda, 16, studies and takes her PSATs today, we’re excited for a new iCarly episode THIS Saturday, October 17th on Nickelodeon.

In the episode, “iHave My Principals,” Principal Franklin (Tim Russ) gets fired after appearing in some silly skits on Carly’s (Cosgrove) show. His two replacements are unbearable, so Carly and her pals set out to make them look bad. Elsewhere, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) learns how to ride a mechanical bull.

Jennette McCurdy hangs out backstage at the “We’re All For The Hall” benefit concert with David Archuleta and Dave Haygood and Charles Kelly of Lady Antebellum at the Somnet Center in Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday night (October 13).

The 17-year-old actress/singer is currently back in Nashville to work on her debut record from Capitol Records coming out soon.

Jennette recently told JJJ that she would love to do a music video for her single, “So Close.” She shared, “I’m going to film one for ‘So Close’ coming up here soon. It should be in a couple of weeks and I get to help cast the guy. We’re brainstorming different concepts for it right now. We have like four storyboards. Trying to pick one is hard, a hard decision.”

The 17-year-old singer/actress caught up with JJJ at the Onitsuka Tiger-sponsored event, and spilled on one of her favorite upcoming episodes on iCarly.

Jennette shared, “We find out that Sam used to compete in beauty pageants. I know crazy, right? She had this arch rival girl who’s going to win her 100th pageant so Sam sends Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) to go compete against the arch rival. Then Carly can’t compete so Sam has to compete again. It was a really fun episode.”

iCarly costars Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy show their pearly whites off at the 2009 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles on Friday night (September 25).

Miranda, 16, recently caught up with the O.C. Register to chat about Nick’s upcoming family game show, Brain Surge. When filming a promo for the new show, Miranda shared, “It seems pretty crazy. I think the first one who loses, which will probably be me, has to go down this tube filled with white goo.”

She also dished about her character on iCarly, Carly Shay, saying, “I love doing iCarly, because it’s always fun to do a character, but it’s fun doing this because you just get to be yourself. I’m just not good at this kind [game show] of thing – I’m horrible!”

Miranda Cosgrove gets the chuckles over a medicated Jennette McCurdy in this new still from iCarly.

In the new episode, “iThink They Kissed,” Sam (McCurdy) slips and tells Carly (Cosgrove) about the time she kissed Freddie (Nathan Kress), leading Carly to demand to know why her friends kept this a secret from her. Elsewhere, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) teaches an art class to prisoners.

Series creator Dan Schneider shared a few secrets about the episode. He shared on his official blog, “During the second half of this scene when Carly and Sam are talking, you’ll see how Sam keeps pulling Carly toward her… and spastically wrapping her arms around Carly’s head… and grabbing at Carly’s hair. None of that was in the script. As we were shooting the scene, the pace and energy were feeling a little slow to me… not fun and funny enough. So the director and I ran on set and worked with the girls, suggesting to Jennette that she be more grabby, and to keep telling Carly to ‘C’mere.’ I loved the result, so when I got into editing, that’s what I used in the episode.”
