The “Unconditional” singer celebrates her 18th birthday today!

Jordan updated her MySpace last night, saying, “Whew! Busy weekend…I had two shows…One was in Kansas City, and the other was in New York! They both went amazing! Thank you to all the fans who came, you guys were an amazing crowd! I’m just got back home, and will get to spend a little time here. My 18th birthday is tomorrow! I’m so excited and can’t believe I’m going to be 18. I hate using the word perfect, but I have to say Everything in my life right now is going soooo perfect. I’ve never been so happy in my entire life. And I’m really happy with where I’m at in my life. I feel very at peace with everything, and I feel like the rest of my life is just about to start. Well, I have a lot of stuff in the works. And I will be able to tell you guys about everything soon! Love you guys…. Xoxo Jordan.”

Jordan Pruitt will be joining Sonny starlet Demi Lovato on her summer tour!

The 17-year-old “One Love” singer wrote on her MySpace, “GREAT NEWS…. I’m going on tour with Demi Lovato and David Archuleta starting July 24th! I’m super excited, Demi is so sweet and super talented! And I voted for David on American Idol, So I’m very excited to meet him! I will be opening for them, and I’m so ridiculously excited about this tour!!! All the tour dates will be posted in the next few days!! If you are in the area where I’m singing, I hope you come! It will be an amazing show. I feel very blessed right now!

“Ps I bought My new car! Like me, I changed my mind at the last minute. I got a 2009 IS 250 Black Lexus! It’s the coolest car I’ve ever seen! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I’m also going to be writing a few more songs for my album before it comes out! Super excited and lovin’ life. Love you guys so much, Jordan.”

Jordan Pruitt snaps a pic with her prom date Carter before they dance the night away on Saturday evening (April 4) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 17-year-old singer wrote in her MySpace the day after, saying, “So I had the best night of my life! I had so much fun at Prom! I’ll give you a play by play! I got ready and left my house at 4:30 because pictures were at 5:30. So I got to my friend Cameron’s house and we all took pictures, and then drove to prom! When we got there, violins were playing and my date and I found our table. The dinner was the best. I had chicken pasta and cheesecake. And after we ate, we danced for about 2 hours! I have to say, I’m always a little nervous to dance in front of people I don’t know. But I was brave and went to the dance floor! I was lucky, because My date was like the best dancer ever! I had such a blast….and I was really glad that I got to go to Prom!!”

Jordan Pruitt had the shock of her life over the weekend — lightning!

The 17-year-old songstress wrote on her MySpace, “I woke up last night at 3AM to really loud bang of thunder. Apparently, lightning struck our house, and a huge tree in our front yard….scary! Now, I’m without cable!!! Whatever shall I do? haha It should be fixed by tonight! Anyways, after I got woke up, I couldn’t fall asleep…I hate when that happens. So I got my computer out and wrote this really cool new song. It’s called, ‘The One’, and It’s really R&B and soulful. I think you guys will like it a lot!

“O.K. so I was thinking about the last four years of my life when I was working out this morning. And I have to say, after everything I’ve been through, I don’t regret anything. I think everything I’ve had to go through has made me the person I am today. A strong independent girl. I really love the place I’m at in my life. I have an amazing family and really awesome friends who I adore. As my 18th birthday approaches, I’m not as worried as I used to be. I know that whatever is supposed to happen…will. I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m very excited to find out. Love You All! xo Jordan.”

“Hey Guys! I was in LA for two days! There’s some really cool stuff in the works, but it’s too early to tell you guys all the details! The second day I was in LA I had four meetings, and they all got canceled because I had to put some finishing touches on a new song I recorded for my album! It was so much fun! Recently I’ve gotten to work with some very talented artists and musicians and we wrote a really cool song together!

“Oh more exciting news…I’m buying a car for my 18th birthday! It’s a Lexus Hybrid SUV! It’s really really safe! Super excited! I might even have a HUGE 18th Birthday party if I’m not working! Now I’m headed home for a few days, finishing the rest of high school, probably going to hang out with my friends, and write more music! I love going home because everything is very laid back and simple. You could even say I’m a little boring when I’m home! But I like boring.

Well hopping on a plane….Hope you guys are amazing! Oh… And I ran into the Jonas Brothers while I was in California too! And they were very sweet…like always! xoxo Jordan.”

Hannah writes to us, “I’m a huuuuuge fan of your site. My mom takes like a year to develop film, and I wanted to donate a few photos. On May 19, 2008, I met my idol Jordan Pruitt.”

Jordan, 17, updated her MySpace last week and dished a little bit about her upcoming prom. She wrote, “I’m home this week! I’m having so much fun, and I’ve been in the studio writing songs! I’ve written three new songs that I think you will LOVE! I’ve also been catching up with my friends. I finally got my Prom Dress. I can’t wait for Prom. Jordan Pruitt dream is coming true! She’s going to a prom!

The 17-year-old “Simple Things” singer updated her MySpace and told her fans all about it. She writes, “I went to L.A. this week to write a few songs, and recorded a few new ones too! I was so excited since I haven’t been in the studio for a few months! You have no idea how much fun I had. Once I get in the studio I don’t want to leave. I absolutely love it, And I call it my second home!

“I’m almost done with high school, and I probably have two more weeks of homework! YAY! Oh… and I got asked to prom this week! One of my really good guy friends asked me if I could come to his prom in April! And I said yes! Time to pick out a dress. You have no idea how excited I am. Never did I think I would get the opportunity to go to prom since I’m home schooled. Love you all! Peace, Love, Jordan.”

Yesterday I promised you guys a play by play of what happened yesterday — here it goes. My hair and makeup artist came a few hours before the premiere because we needed to catch up! And we like to have fun while he’s doing my makeup…by fun I mean turn on some music and dance! After I got glamorized I was dropped off at the red carpet (which was actually a purple carpet). As I walked everyone was screaming my name, and I tried to sign as many autographs as possible!! Sorry to any of you who I didn’t make it you! I love you!!!! After I walked to the ”purple” carpet, I interviewed with Radio Disney! I absolutely adore Ernie D so I was glad he was there!”
