This Saturday, February 14th, Radio Disney will be re-airing Jesse McCartney and Jordan Pruitt’s RD Takeovers.

Jordan, 17, just updated her MySpace about her fun-filled weekend. She shared, “I am excited about this weekend, Valentine’s Day!! I am going to be in New Orleans for Marti Gras/Family Gras concert. Drew [Seeley] and many others will be there, too. I had a blast last time I was there. I am still trying to finish my senior year my the end of April. I will be on tour, so I won’t be able to go to the graduation in June, but that’s ok, I’d rather be singing!”

Jesse, 21, and Jordan’s takeovers will air back to back on Saturday @ 4PM PST on Radio Disney!

It’s been a while since Jordan Pruitt has checked in with her fans and updated her MySpace, but no worries, she just posted a new entry!

The 17-year-old performer writes, “Hey guys, I have been at home lately catching up on my school work. I can’t wait to graduate this year. I love my music class, of course. While I was at home the Jonas Brothers invited me to their concert at the Ryman!! Wow, that was a fun night with a lot of other Christian and country stars, too!!!!

“I hope some of you got hear my takeover with Ernie D on Radio Disney!!! It was a blast talking with Ernie D and talking to listeners and fans. I went shopping with Nastia [Liukin] and out to dinner, too. Thanks for requesting ‘My Shoes’ and moving it back up the charts. You guys rock…..Radio Disney Jams 11 is out on iTunes today featuring ‘One Love.’

After giving a speech at Oak Ridge Elementary School in Tallahassee, Fla., Jordan Pruitt caught her breath and sat down to talk with JustJaredJr.com.

The 17-year-old Permission to Fly performer was happy to present the elementary school with a grand prize worth over $200,000 in technology products, software, and cash grants. Samsung Electonics sponsored the annual Hope for Education essay contest with the topic: “How has technology educated you on helping the environment and how or why has it changed your behavior to be more environmentally friendly?”

Here’s what Jordan shared with JJJ:

JJJ: The topic of the essay contest for the event you were at today was about being green. How do you go green in your own life?

JP: I’m really environmentally friendly. We (my family and I) recycle. I’m going to get a new car and it’s going to be a hybrid of some sort. We’ve been looking at all types of cars, but I don’t have any particular one in mind.

JJJ: Did you read the winning essay yourself?

JP: Yes, it was actually only two paragraphs and it was really good. It was a first grade teacher who wrote the essay. The school gets a choice of computers, TVs, and all different kinds of electronics they can choose from.

Jordan Pruitt performed at the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Carol by Candlelight event this past weekend.

The 17-year-old pop sensation just wrote about the experience on her MySpace, saying, “It got me in the Christmas spirit!! I love to sing Christmas carols and hope to do a Christmas album next year.”

Jordan also wrote a little about another recent performance of hers: “I am in Tallahassee [Florida, right now]. Today I performed at a school that won the Hope For Education essay contest. They won 200,000 worth of technology and software for their school and a concert from me. The kids were so cute and education is soooo important!”

Songbird Jordan Pruitt popped in on her official YouTube channel to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

The 17-year-old singer also wrote in her MySpace that she’s loving Taylor Swift’s new album and that she’ll be in San Diego this week. She shares, “I will be going to Orlando and then San Diego this week for the Make a Wish Foundation’s Carols by Candlelight on the 12th and 13th. I love San Diego!!!!!!!”

Pop star Jordan Pruitt is best known for her jumpy singles featured on Disney Channel Original Movies such as Jump In!, Read It and Weep, but the 17-year-old singer-songwriter isn’t far away from making her name into a household one.

Her single “One Love” has been featured on the Radio Disney Dot Com Top 3 multiple times and she’s on her way to doing the same with her second single, “My Shoes”, off her sophomore album, Permission to Fly.

Jordan has been performing at the Gymnastics Superstars Tour but recently took the time to sit down with JustJaredJr.com to talk about everything from her Olympian crushes, her very own record label, and her secret hobby. Check it:

JJJ: On your official YouTube channel, you released a lot of song covers. The Leona Lewis “Bleeding Love” one was really good. Are there any new ones you’re going to cover soon?

JP: I’ve been on tour for about a month now and started to ask all my gymnast friends what they like to listen to. So they’re gonna give me some ideas and I’ll probably end up doing one this week maybe.

JJJ: Parade Magazine honored you this year as Best Young Role Model in America. How does that feel?

JP: You know, that is so cool! That’s the one thing that I always really strive to be. My fans are always in my head when I make decisions and I ask myself, ‘What do they want to see?’ With the world we live in today, there needs to be a good role model and I’m definitely up to being a good role model.
