Josh Hutcherson suits up for the premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Thursday night (February 2) in Hollywood.

The 19-year-old actor stopped to chat with Access Hollywood on the red carpet about the flick.

“The hardest part about working in Hawaii, is actually working in Hawaii,” Josh shared. “All you want to do is sit around on the beach. Every location we shot in was like a postcard, it was pretty amazing.”

The Hunger Games stars dish about nine unknown secrets behind the production including why it took Jennifer, 21, three days to say yes, the final cost of the film and more.

Jennifer shared of the accident that sent her to the hospital, “I had to do 10 ‘wall runs,’ where you run at the wall as hard as you can to get traction. I ran at it and my foot didn’t go up, so I caught the wall with my stomach. My trainer thought I had burst my spleen. I had to get a CAT scan and go into a tube where they put this fiery liquid in your body.”

“I was still pretty bulked up from X-Men: First Class,” she added. “So a lot of the training was getting muscle back, heightening the muscles without building them. I loved the archery — well, I have a love-hate relationship with it.”

The 19-year-old actor was joined by his cast mates Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzman and Dwayne Johnson at the red carpet event.

Josh recently spoke with the NY Post about dating Vanessa for a millisecond: ““We only dated for, literally, like two months.”

“It wasn’t too bad, honestly. For there to be as few injuries as there were is pretty impressive,” he added about the on-set injuries while filming. “I know one time Vanessa was just like goofing off and being silly and, like, walking backwards and almost fell on a rock and cut her leg. Because, she’s silly and goofy and clumsy sometimes.”

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island opens on February 10th.

In the upcoming flick, when 17-year-old Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist, his new stepfather, Hank (Dwayne Johnson), is unable to stop him from going and joins the quest.

Together with a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.
