• Zac Efron celebrated the wrap of his movie The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens – and his castmates – at the Watermark Restaurant and Lounge in Vancouver. The duo cuddled and shared kisses on the patio, looking out at the ocean as Hudgens sat on her beau’s lap. At around midnight, the revelers got a sneak peek at the movie trailer – and a blooper reel which got everyone laughing.

Kay dished to J-14 about her favorite song on the Fame soundtrack: “There’s this song that Asher sings that takes my breath away. It’s called ‘Try,’ and it’s a ballad. It’s beautiful and he plays the piano while singing it — literally girls will be playing this on their iPods on repeat because it’s so pretty.”

On-screen lovers Kay Panabaker and Asher Book stick close together as they attend a screening of their new movie, Fame, at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Thursday night (September 24).

Kay, 19, recently dished to Cinema Blend about the retelling of the original 1980 musical. She shared, “It was so much fun [working with an ensemble cast]. Given that it was such a big film both in the 80s and now, we really wanted to work really hard to make it such a good film but since we worked so hard I think we also kind of let ourselves play hard.

She continued, “Like, on the weekends we would hang out, we’d go bowling, we’d go out to dinner, just get to know each other because the strong point of this film is these characters have created such great friendships and relationships that we needed to build them offset as well as onset so that it would just be more believable.”

Longtime gal pals Samantha Droke and Francia Raisa sandwich in Kay Panabaker as they attend the Fame premiere at The Grove in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The two starlets, both 21, met up with other gal pal Ashley Tisdale and watched V Factory and Naturi Naughton belt out tunes from the film’s soundtrack.

The new story of Fame follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. In addition to their artistic goals, they have to deal with everything else that goes along with high school, a tumultuous time full of schoolwork, deep friendships, budding romance, and self-discovery.

The flick, out Friday, September 25, stars Kay Panabaker, Asher Book, Naturi Naughton, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, Walter Perez, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Collins Pennie, Kristy Flores and Kherington Payne.
