Percy summary: Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) has just learned that his real father is Poseidon, god of the sea, which means Percy is a demigod - half human, half god. Percy travels to a special enclave called Camp Half Blood, where he trains to harness his newly discovered powers and prevent a devastating war among the gods. There, Percy meets two fellow demigods - the warrior Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario), who is searching for her mother, the goddess Athena; and his friend and protector, Grover (Brandon T. Jackson), who is actually a brave but untested satyr.

The action flick hits theaters FRIDAY, February 12th!

The 25-year-old actor recently chatted with USA Weekend about the shock of seeing himself with goat legs on screen.

Brandon shared, “I almost flipped out. My dad thought I was possessed…It was cool because I saw it for the first time, and I don’t know how people are going to react to it because it’s so different. It’s set in Brooklyn and it’s normal kids, this high school that’s made for misfits and people who aren’t accepted or who have ADD problems or special learning skills. It’s not set in Narnia or this Harry Potter world of adventure. It’s very modern, very western, very American. It’s a different twist on it.”

Alexandra Daddario shows off her pearly whites as she attends the premiere of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief held at NYC’s AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Thursday night (February 4).

The 23-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a strapless black-and-white patterned dress. Costar Brandon T. Jackson and Logan Lerman were also spotted, posing for a few pics with one of the older members of the cast, Pierce Brosnan.

The flick, which follows Percy (Lerman) as he finds out he’s half human, half God, hits theaters NEXT WEEK — Friday, February 12.

Logan Lerman shows off his sharp suit as he arrives at the NYC premiere of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief held at AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Thursday night (February 4).

In addition to Zac Efron and David Henrie, the 18-year-old actor is also in the running to become the next Spider Man according to reports.

IESB reports that both the studio and Logan’s people are in talks for him to take over the role originated by Tobey Maguire in film.

Logan shared in a recent interview, “It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course. I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.”

Alexandra is also featured in this month’s Nylon mag and director Chris Columbus reveals exactly why he chose her for the role of Annabeth Chase — she had an “otherworldly” quality. He shared, “She is completely unique and original. Alex is not some waiflike, brittle actress on-screen. She has a tough quality, which is balanced nicely by her warmth and femininity.”

Logan Lerman and co-star Alexandra Daddario are spotted taking in the sights of Athens, Greece before their big world premiere of Percy Jackson on Friday afternoon (January 29).

Earlier in the day, the duo plus Brandon T. Jackson and Jake Abel (not pictured) hosted a live chat from the Acropolis.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, about a boy who discovers that Greek gods are real and he’s a demigod, hits theaters on Friday, February 12.

Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario and Jake Abel took over the Acropolis in Athens, Greece early this morning (January 29) to chat about their upcoming movie, Percy Jackson.

The quartet chatted about sightseeing in Greece, fighting scenes, Twitter and the book series.

Alexandra differs from the boys, being as she read the book before landing the role of Annabeth. She shared, “I read it before to get a sense of the role and what the movie was going to be about. I loved it. It’s a really good book.”
