Daniel Radcliffe IS Friends with Rupert Grint

Daniel Radcliffe IS Friends with Rupert Grint

Daniel Radcliffe is clearing up the confusion about being misquoted about his friendship with Rupert Grint.

The 22-year-old actor dished to Ryan Seacrest (via People) to set the record straight — they are good friends.

Dan shared, “It’s just ridiculous. Someone said, ‘Are you in contact with Rupert and Emma [Watson] at the moment?’ And I said, ‘Emma and I have been texting recently, but Rupert and I never text.’ ”

“We have never texted each other in 10 years of filming. We just never have. We are lazy texters. We’ve never texted each other back. And we both know that’s how the other person is. I know that the next time I see Rupert, we’ll sit next to each other and chat, and it will be like old times,” he added. “It will be fantastic…It’s just that we’re not constantly texting each other.”

Along with Tom Felton, and James and Oliver Phelps, the cast takes one final look back at the films that made them household names.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II has also been long-listed for quite a few honors at the 2012 BAFTAs (Supporting Actor, Outstanding British Film, Costume Design, Special Visual Effects, Original Music, Sound, Make Up & Hair, Cinematography, Production Design, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing) plus a and Visual Effects Oscar.

Crossing our fingers for some nods!

Rupert Grint: Not In A Rush To Do Anything

Rupert Grint: Not In A Rush To Do Anything

Rupert Grint isn’t rushing to do anything out of the ordinary, he tells the Mirror.

The 23-year-old British actor — and quite possibly our favorite red head — tells the paper, “I have not been in too much of a rush to do anything really. It has been nice to catch up on a few things and have a bit of freedom. I did a film earlier this year called Comrade, a Second World War movie set in Norway – that was pretty cool. Apart from that I have just been relaxing.”

And relaxing he has, mixed with spreading some cheer and charity to a few lucky fans.

Thanks to our pals at SnitchSeeker, we have a new video of Rupert spending the day with one special family.

Rupert joined the fam, who lost their mother a few years ago, at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter earlier last month, where they enjoyed a few Butterbeers at Hog’s Head, and accompanied them to Ollivander’s wand shop at Hogsmeade. The special was a part of ITV’s 2011 Noel’s Christmas Presents special.

Rupert Grint is one talented guy!

Not only is the 23-year-old actor a brilliant wizard (and one we’ll be chatting with this weekend in Orlando), but he’s also a talented artist!

Rupert just donated a painting to The Prince’s Trust, which is up for auction at the Prince’s Trust Evening of Art sale where all proceeds to which go to disadvantaged youths.

But that’s not all — he also painted an Elephant for the Elephant Parade! All proceeds from the elephant will support and fund the Asian Elephant Foundation as well as the Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The funds will pay for elephant hospitals and land for elephants to roam in the wild.

Rupert said of his elephant, “My inspiration comes from the human heart with its intricate veins and arteries, intertwined with faces depicting various expressions of human emotions.”

Rupert Grint gets cozy with a fake Ed Sheeran in this behind-the-scenes look at the “Lego House” music video.

Thanks to SnitchSeeker for the tip, the vid was shot in Hertfordshire and East London earlier this year.

“It came about because we’re both kind of…ginger. Once you see the video, it will make sense. It was a lot of fun. It was very different,” Rupert shared with MSN UK about the project.
