Scout Taylor-Compton shows off her flirty red dress as she arrives at the premiere of her new flick, Halloween II held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday night (August 24).

The 20-year-old starlet stars as Laurie in the updated horror film. Laurie struggles to come to terms with her brother Michael’s (Tyler Mane) deadly return to Haddonfield, Illinois; meanwhile, Michael prepares for another reunion with his sister.

Scout most recently wrapped The Runaways, also starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.

Halloween II hits theaters THIS Friday, August 28.

New BFF costars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning share a private joke as they head to film The Runaways in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (July 1).

The duo, plus new cast members Stella Maeve, Alia Shawkat and Scout Taylor-Compton, were seen jumping on a car and kicking over a couple of trash cans. Dakota even took a bit of a fall, which she laughed off.

The Runaways tells the story of the 1970s teenage rock band responsible for hits songs like “Cherry Bomb” and “Born to Be Bad.”

Sporting a red, white and blue soccer star tee, Kristen Stewart heads off to the film set of The Runaways on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

It was also just announced that Scout Taylor-Compton will be joining the all-star cast as guitarist Lita Ford. She wrote on her MySpace, saying, “So far the process has been amazing, I am so lucky and honored to be able to portray the guitar icon Lita Ford!”
