Selena Gomez gets into the groove as she belts out “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” one of Selena Quintanilla’s biggest hits during her concert on Sunday night (February 7) at the San Antonio Rodeo.

The 17-year-old actress who was named after the slain Latina popstar has once said, “My dad and family loved her. So when my mother got pregnant with me, he wanted to name me Selena, after her. As I got older and could understand why I was named after her, I went to go visit her grave and where she used to perform.”

And yes, Selena’s rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas was in the audience supporting her. Check out the vid below!

On Nick’s stage presence: “The first thing that really surprised me was how much of a leader and how much of a showman he was onstage. [He's actually] very quiet and serious. We spent a lot of time one day in his dressing room just playing around. I was playing keyboard and he was playing guitar and we were just trying to work out something, and that was pretty fun.”

On Joe Jonas being a hugger: “We went to say goodbye and my boyfriend went to shake his hand and Joe gave him a hug. [It was] kind of awkward, and Joe was like, ‘We’re a hugging kind of family.’ It was really cute. Every time I saw them they were hugging and just really friendly.”

On meeting Selena Gomez: “She seemed really cool. I think she’s pretty close to the family.”

On Nick’s insane but sweet fans: “[It's] similar to Beatlemania. I was really surprised at the craziness of the fans and how insane they are – and how genuinely sweet. They would spend hours in the freezing cold just to catch a glimpse of him.”

Selena Gomez gets asked by Morgan of KIIS FM in Los Angeles to be his Valentine on Wednesday (February 3)!

Morgan gets embarrassed by a co-worker and tells Selena and he’s in love with her! He then pulls out a bag of Skittles (Taste the Rainbow!) and asks her to be his Valentine!

Sel, 17, says, “YES! I would love to be your Valentine!” and gives him a big hug!

DO YOU THINK Nick is going to be jealous - YAY or NAY?

Keeping things quiet and private, Nick Jonas sort of opened up to MOD this afternoon was questioned about his relationship with pal Selena Gomez.

The 17-year-old musician commented, “I think when it comes to that I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private. We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes I will keep that to myself for right now.” Smart guy!

Nick also shared about his future run for president, “I think it’s fun. I think it started off as a joke but now I feel it’s becoming a bit more serious and starting my campaign now. It would be fun to be president. We’ll see what happens…I don’t know if it will be fun. It would be a big challenge I think.”

Nick Jonas leads rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez through the crowd outside of Phillipe Chow restaurant after sharing a dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening (February 2).

Earlier in the day, Nick, 17, made his rounds around the city, promoting the debut of his new album, Who I Am. He even gave roses to his fans in Sherman Oaks!

The twosome were also spotted out earlier this week, driving home together after Nick recorded his part of the “We Are The World” remake.

The new “We Are the World” remake will go towards benefiting relief efforts in Haiti. The recording session took place almost 25 years to the day since the original song for African famine relief was recorded.

Among the notable names in the remake: Among the voices in the 81-member choir were Pink, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Jordin Sparks, Jason Mraz, Miley Cyrus, Julianne Hough, and Gladys Knight.

Starlets Brenda Song and Selena Gomez are just two of the celebrities speaking up in Disney Channel’s new “Express Yourself” shorts.

The upcoming 60-second interstitials will feature one coinciding with kids, families and educators’ discussions surrounding the Haiti earthquake.

Featuring the message “Join the world as we shine a light on Haiti,” the shorts have themes of connection, empowerment, compassion, outreach and being a part of a global community.

The “Express Yourself” shorts will start airing TODAY, February 2 on Disney Channel, Disney XD and YouTube.

Months after Selena Gomez shot down all the rumors about her and Taylor Lautner dating, she still thinks he’s amazing.

The 17-year-old actress opened to KIISFM’s Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning about her relationship with the 17-year-old Twilight actor and BFF Taylor Swift.

Selena had nothing but kinds words about Lautner, using the words “awesome” and “amazing” several times.

She also joked about the philosophies she and Swift share about boys, saying, “[I'm] very lucky to have her in my life. [She's always telling me] we’re going to look forward to getting our heart broken, because now the other person gets the junk food.”
