“Say Goodnight, Beauregard” is the tale of Selena’s favorite cow, Elsie. The 17-year-old actress/singer even wrote the forward for the book.

Selena recently admitted when she was younger, she “used to draw on her [Elsie the Cow] — give her bows and stuff. I thought it was cute. I love the cow. The cow is so entertaining to me for some reason.”

Selena Gomez got a really big surprise over the weekend from Radio Disney’s Top 30 Countdown DJ Jake!

After hearing that her song was number one on the countdown, Jake called the 17-year-old starlet right up and had to tell her.

Selena’s reaction was priceless: “What? Are you kidding me? OMG, I’m number one! This is so crazy! Thank you! I’ve never had a number one. I listen to Top 30 Countdown all the time. Thank you!”

Selena Gomez and her band The Scene have been teasing about their second single via Twitter for a while and Sel just confirmed on her live chat this afternoon!

It’s “Naturally”!!! JJJ loves this song, it’s one of our absolute favorites!

Their first single off of their debut album, Kiss & Tell, “Falling Down” peaked at #82 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #83 on the Canadian Hot 100.

The 17-year-old UNICEF ambassador will be going live on her Ustream channel to chat about Halloween, trick-or-treating and how you can help raise money for UNICEF on the haunting holiday.

Selena is trying to reach a fundraising goal of $1 million by the end of 2009 for UNICEF. She will also be offering the top three fundraisers a personal phone call, an official autographed picture, and an official UNICEF certificate of appreciation. Sounds cool!

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez spend some quality girl time together on Tuesday night (October 27) in Los Angeles.

The twosome grabbed some Italian fare at Maggiano’s restaurant in Little Italy. Afterwards, Taylor, 19, and Selena, 17, then stopped for some sweet treats at the frozen yogurt bar at Menchie’s. Yum, yum!

Selena tweeted, “So what do Taylor and I do after a nice meal… Eat again. Yup.”

Selena Gomez charms her way onto the Fall 2009 cover of Brazilian magazine Atrevidinha.

The 17-year-old actress dished to the mag on mini-vacations in Puerto Rico, Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie and her shock about there being a movie at all. Check it:

On finding out there was going to be a Wizards movie: “At first, I thought that it was a trick. I was in the building of Disney and I heard that we were going to make a movie. I also heard we were going to be filming in Puerto Rico and I was so excited!”

On being in Puerto Rico without BFF Demi Lovato: “It wasn’t the same without Demi, so I wasn’t so happy at first. But in the end, it was my Wizards family, so it was really like a vacation.”

On the feel of the Wizards movie: “It has more action and I made some dangerous scenes. I remember that after the last day of filming, I did not imagine that would work so hard in this film.”
