The 17-year-old UNICEF ambassador will be going live on her Ustream channel to chat about Halloween, trick-or-treating and how you can help raise money for UNICEF on the haunting holiday.

Selena is trying to reach a fundraising goal of $1 million by the end of 2009 for UNICEF. She will also be offering the top three fundraisers a personal phone call, an official autographed picture, and an official UNICEF certificate of appreciation. Sounds cool!

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez spend some quality girl time together on Tuesday night (October 27) in Los Angeles.

The twosome grabbed some Italian fare at Maggiano’s restaurant in Little Italy. Afterwards, Taylor, 19, and Selena, 17, then stopped for some sweet treats at the frozen yogurt bar at Menchie’s. Yum, yum!

Selena tweeted, “So what do Taylor and I do after a nice meal… Eat again. Yup.”

Selena Gomez charms her way onto the Fall 2009 cover of Brazilian magazine Atrevidinha.

The 17-year-old actress dished to the mag on mini-vacations in Puerto Rico, Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie and her shock about there being a movie at all. Check it:

On finding out there was going to be a Wizards movie: “At first, I thought that it was a trick. I was in the building of Disney and I heard that we were going to make a movie. I also heard we were going to be filming in Puerto Rico and I was so excited!”

On being in Puerto Rico without BFF Demi Lovato: “It wasn’t the same without Demi, so I wasn’t so happy at first. But in the end, it was my Wizards family, so it was really like a vacation.”

On the feel of the Wizards movie: “It has more action and I made some dangerous scenes. I remember that after the last day of filming, I did not imagine that would work so hard in this film.”

The top three earners in Selena’s team, will get a personal phone call, an autographed photo and an UNICEF certificate of appreciation.

Sel continued, “Don’t worry if you don’t have any Trick or Treat boxes you can use an old coffee can and then make your donations to our team page at UNICEF.org.”

Selena Gomez caught up with Seventeen mag recently to take part in their Body Breakthrough series.

The 17-year-old starlet shared her self-imperfection, saying, “My ears are something that I’ve always been weird about. If you notice, in everything I do, I kind of use my hair to cover it up a lot. But, I actually have started to kind of put my hair behind my ear. I feel that there’s a point in everybody’s life where they think that they’re not perfect and they look in the mirror and see what could be better.”

Sel continued, “One of my best friends told me to get up every morning and try say to yourself, ‘I am beautiful’, every single morning. And that helped a lot. And it just gets to a point where it’s exhausting wanting to be like someone else and wanting to be this certain way. I think God made you who you are. Embrace it!”

Selena Gomez is about to find out what all boys want after booking the title role in the film of the same name.

The flick, pitched by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer to New Line, centers on a teenage girl who can hear what men are thinking, Variety reports.

Selena’s mom Mandy Teefey will executive produce the film along with Allen Fisher. Sel’s own production company, July Moon Productions, partnered with XYZ Films last year to finance development of at least two films in which she would star and produce.
