Vanessa Hudgens stays super close to younger sis Stella at the official after party for Bandslam at the Napa Valley Grille on Thursday night (August 6) in Westwood, Calif.

The sisterly duo mingled with Vanessa’s costars Gaelan Connell and Aly Michalka as well as BFF Brittany Snow.

Upon hearing the news that film maker John Hughes had passed, Vanessa and Gaelan shared at the premiere, “There was kind of a throwback in this movie to his kind of films. The Breakfast Club…”

FYI: Vanessa is wearing a cream Georges Hobeika cocktail dress with a House of Lavande 1960’s black Schreiner necklace. Gorgeous-ness!

The 20-year-old Bandslam actress was accompanied by her mom Gina and lil sis Stella.

Vanessa and Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester are the “popcorn award” presenters for this year’s upcoming 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Joining them will be Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds, Jonah Hill and Lil Wayne. Hosting the live event is SNL regular Andy Samberg.

JJJ caught up with Stella Hudgens at the 2009 Kids Choice Awards on Saturday (March 28).

The 13-year-old younger sister of Vanessa Hudgensactress opened up to us about her favorite movie, school subject and what mom Gina was up to while her daughters were at the award show. Check it:

On if she’s been pursuing an acting career: “I’m auditioning [but I've mostly been concentrating] on going to school.”

On her best and worst subjects: “Science [is my best], but the teacher isn’t my favorite. I just like the subject. Worst subject? Math and Religion.”

On what she does on a typical day off: “Hang out and shop. Regular things.

On the last movie she saw: “The 10th Kingdom. It’s like six hours long, but it’s my favorite movie. It takes like two discs (on DVD) to watch it. But I like it.”

On who else she listens to besides her sister’s music: “I love Justin Timberlake. I think he’s really cute. I haven’t been to his concert yet. My mom is always like, ‘We need to take you.’ I’m like ‘Yes!’”

On what mom Gina was doing on Saturday: “She’s at home, I think she’s on date with my dad. She drove us here and then was like ‘Get out.’ (laughs)”

The 20-year-old actress, in her Nike flannel jacket, took her younger sister Stella and mom Gina out later in the afternoon, stopping off at a frame shop where Vanessa purchased a large picture of a butterfly.

FYI: Vanessa’s name means butterfly. Wonder if she’ll frame it and post it in Zac’s bedroom?

Stella Hudgens aka Vanessa’s younger sister, uploaded a video to her personal MySpace page to prove her web presence to skeptics.

Shortly after posting it, she took it down! But lucky for us, the video of the 13-year-old starlet was uploaded on another account for us to enjoy. Stella chats away on the phone with friend, Sophie, and shares, “I’ve been getting a lot of comments saying that I’m fake. Yeah, am I fake anymore? Here’s your proof that you’ve been asking for.”

JJJ has learned that she has made a new account but all of her videos are now private.

Vanessa Hudgens keeps it comfy and casual in a gray sweatsuit as she slips out of Frends Beauty Supply Company store in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.

The 20-year-old “Gone With The Wind” singer was out with lil sis Stella picking up some last minute Christmas goodies.

Vanessa and boyfriend Zac Efron were seen out and about over the weekend, enjoying Barney’s of New York’s holiday sale.

Vanessa will soon be gearing up to promote her new film, Bandslam, soon. According to Variety, Summit Entertainment and AEG Live will be teaming up to hype up the battle of the bands film. AEG Live will book dates at select Nokia venues in New York and Los Angeles where Vanessa, co-star Alyson Michalka and other acts from the movie will play to promote the film due out in theaters July 2009.

Paparazzi-shy Vanessa Hudgens hides her face from photographers as she makes her way into Sushi Katsu-Ya for dinner on Saturday in Studio City, Calif.

The 19-year-old High School Musical sweetheart was seen hiding her face as she was denied a seat at the restaurant.

Vanessa then jumped in her car with her mother Gina and little sister Stella. The family then bolted home to order for delivery!

UPDATE: A rep for Katsu-Ya exclusively tells JustJaredJr.com they are deeply sorry for not being able to seat Vanessa: “There were no available tables and the management was extremely sorry they could not accommodate her.”
