Scout-Taylor Compton and Stella Maeve pair up together on the red carpet as they attend the premiere of The Runaways held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles on Thursday night (March 11).
The duo, who play Lita Ford and Sandy West, in the flick were joined by costars Riley Keough and Hannah Marks.
The Runaways opens in theaters NEXT Friday, March 19th.

Stella Maeve shows off her wild, red locks in this new shot from the newest issue of Daman magazine.
The -year-old actress opened up about her role as Sandy West in the upcoming The Runaways and how she embodied the late drummer. Stella shared, “I spent a lot of time with Joan on and off set. It’s really important to get to know the people you are portraying. And she was more than will to share with all of us. We talked a lot about my part and she really helped me with character development.”
Stella continued, “It was especially hard to play Sandy seeing as how she’s the only band member that is no longer here with us. So, the material I had to work from was from the people that knew her best — her family, friends and band-mates.”
The Runaways hits theaters on March 19.

The upcoming biopic follows two friends, Joan Jett (Stewart) and Cherie Currie (Fanning), as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of girl bands.
Also starring Stella Maeve and Alia Shawkat, the flick will be screening at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival starting THIS Sunday. Check for where and when!

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s upcoming biopic, The Runaways, has a release date!
The duo, plus costars, Scout Taylor-Compton, Stella Maeve and Alia Shawkat will see their flick hit theaters on Friday, March 19, according to E Online.
The Runaways follows tells the story of the 1970s teenage rock band responsible for hits “Cherry Bomb,” “Queens of Noise” and “Born to Be Bad” and will actually screen during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival later this month.

Stella Maeve keeps it casual as she steps out at the premiere of Leap Year held at NYC’s Directors Guild Theatre on Wednesday evening (January 6).
Leap Year follows a woman (Amy Adams) who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, but faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin.
Stella will next be seen in The Runaways opposite Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning as Sandy West.

Check out the cool new poster for Nicole Anderson’s new thriller, Accused at 17!
In the upcoming flick, 17-year-old Bianca Miller (Anderson) finds out her boyfriend cheated on her with a classmate, Dory, (Lindsay Taylor) she’s furious. When her best friends Fallyn, 17, (Janet Montgomery) and Sarah, 17 (Stella Maeve) suggest they play a prank on Dory to make her pay, Bianca agrees to go along.
But when Dory’s dead body is found by a hiker, Bianca is horrified and wants to go to the police. She confesses to her mother Jacqui (Cynthia Gibb) the details of the prank and the two decide to go to the police and tell them.

The upcoming biopic centers on the ’70s female rock group The Runaways and focuses on the duo of guitarist/vocalist Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) and lead vocalist/keyboardist Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning) as they navigate a rocky road of touring and record label woes under an abusive manager during their teen years.
