In the premiere episode “Walk A Mile In My Pants,” Sonny (Lovato) rallies everyone together for a “Walk-A-Thon For Books” and gets Tawni (Thornton) to donate her ‘Tawni Hart’s Extreme Skinny Jeans’ for all of the participants to wear. When Chad (Knight) finds out, he follows suit and organizes a “Walk-A-Thon Against Books” with participants also wearing Tawni’s pants. Eventually everyone starts dropping like flies as a result of SPS (Skinny Pants Syndrome).

Happy Birthday, Sterling Knight!

The Sonny with a Chance stud turns the big 2-1 today!

JJJ caught up with Sterling recently and tried to get a hint about his birthday plans. He shared with us, “I know that I’m avoiding Vegas like the plague. I just don’t think it’s a good idea for me. I’ll probably have a party here in LA with some friends and family. Usually birthdays are just another day for me, but this is like the last time I can kind of go crazy on my birthday.”

Hopefully he can! Costar Tiffany Thornton tweeted yesterday that he was sick on set! We hope he feels much better.

Pals Sterling Knight and Matt Shively are once again connecting channels with their cover of Cage The Elephant’s “Ain’t No Rest For the Wicked.”

Sterling, 21, recently caught up with us about why so long between videos, saying, “We keep hanging out and it’s just…(laughs) we ran into some creative differences. He’ll want to do one song and I’ll want to do another. We can never find a middle ground, so we don’t get anything done. But more are coming. We’ll hash out our differences. (laughs) More will come. I promise.”

Sterling Knight may have joined the masses on the ever-popular Twitter, but he isn’t quite in love with the social-networking site.

The 21-year-old actor caught up with JJJ recently and told us just how he feels about it all. Sterling shared, “I was forced into it, unfortunately. I am such a bad twitterer or tweeter, however you say it. I don’t really understand it. There’s this whole new grammer Twitter-skill set that I do not possess. I’m not a very good person to follow. I never tweet and when i do, it’s about some sort of sporting event that I’m watching.”

He continued, “But I do have to say it is fun to read what everyone posts about you. It’s always entertaining. If you need an afternoon pick-me-up or something with a compliment or a joke. Reading what the fans have to say is fun. What’s absolutely hysterical is that my poser has more followers than I do! But I’m hoping this will be another MySpace thing and kind of come an go.”

Sterling also popped on his account today, backing JJJ and telling all of his fans that costar pal Danielle Campbell does not Twitter. He posted, “Wow people are ridiculous Danielle does NOT have a twitter and people pretending to be her…please stop…ur embarrassing yourself globally.”

Danielle Campbell and Sterling Knight hold each others gazes and hands in this new still from StarStruck.

The DCOM follows Hollywood pop star Christopher Wilde (Knight) who, after unexpectedly meeting Jessica Olson (Campbell), a down-to-earth girl visiting from the Midwest, is faced with either following his heart or doing what’s best for his glitzy career.

JJJ caught up with Sterling, Chelsea Staub and Maggie Castle over the week and they all rattled off their favorite scene instantly: Sunset Boulevard!

Maggie shared, “We got to shut down the whole street. It was so cool.”

Chelsea agreed, saying, “It was so fun. Just as a driver around here, you always get mad and annoyed when people shut down the street you’re driving down because of a movie. Sterling and I looked at each other [when we were filming] and were like, ‘We get to be those people!’”

Sterling also had another favorite — the mud pit with Danielle. “It was fun. We got to sink that ugly plum, pink…whatever color that was into the mud. We put that thing out of it’s misery.”

On and off screen buddies Brandon Smith and Sterling Knight take a load off as they promote their upcoming DCOM, StarStruck at Radio Disney in Burbank, Calif., on Friday afternoon (February 12).

Sterling caught up with JJJ recently and dished on his and Brandon’s friendship, “It’s so funny. We’re such good friends in real life. On Sonny, it’s so hard trying to hate him because that’s what Nico and Chad do. But on StarStruck, the cameras completely flipped, which was so cool.”

He also commented and cleared the air about the singing credit for Christopher Wilde, saying, “Just want to put that out there. Drew Ryan Scott did an amazing job and I don’t want to overshadow him at all. He really brought the superstar to life and gotta give credit where credit is due.”

StarStruck premieres SUNDAY, February 14 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel. Are you going to watch?
