Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are nuts for Kings of Leon.
The traveling twosome not only attended the band’s Saturday concert (August 15) in Vancouver, they were also spotted at Sunday’s (August 16)!
Standing in front row, Zac and Vanessa danced to Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” before leaving for a better seat.

Vanessa Hudgens recently sat down with the Montreal Gazette to chat about her upcoming role in the fantasy romance, Beastly.
The 20-year-old actress dished to the paper on why the role spoke to her, why she wouldn’t have taken the part and living every girl’s dream. Check it:
On the appeal of Beastly: “I just thought it was magical. Every girl wants to be a princess and Beauty and the Beast is a classic tale of a princess and a prince. Just the fact that it was going to be told in a way that was modern and edgy and sexy, that was very appealing. It wasn’t something that was too far away from my target audience, but it is, in a way, a step to building new fans. It does reach out to an older group. But I’m trying to take it slow and not do anything too drastic.”
On why she chose to take the role of Lindy Taylor: “With High School Musical, I adore my character and it’s so much fun. But (Beastly) is so much older and so much edgier, and it deals with tough situations, like my dad being a drug addict, and we really get to see people fall in love hard. The stakes are very high. It’s just sexy.”
On not taking the part if boyfriend Zac Efron had been the Beast: “Just because I feel we’re growing up and we want to be able to differentiate ourselves as actors. Not that I don’t want to do something with him eventually. But it’s just - we did our thing [High School Musical movies] together and we’re just going to let that be for the moment.”

Vanessa Hudgens digs in her purse while guy pal Sterling Knight follows her back to her hotel in Vancouver on Sunday afternoon (August 16).
Earlier in the day, the 20-year-old actress was seen shopping along Robson Avenue. Sterling, who starred alongside Vanessa’s BF Zac Efron in 17 Again, was also seen at the Kings of Leon concert with the duo.
Vanessa is currently in Vancouver training for her upcoming flick, Sucker Punch.

RUMOR CONTROL
Earlier this morning, a British tabloid reported that Zac Efron and his longtime love Vanessa Hudgens are engaged. FALSE!
Both Zac and Vanessa’s reps tell JustJaredJr.com that the rumors are “not true.”
The darling duo, while not engaged, are still very much together. The twosome took Zac’s younger brother Dylan to a Kings of Leon concert on Saturday night — the same one that the Eclipse cast attended.

The trio recently sat down with Scholastic to chat about their favorite reads.
Aly, 20, shared that her fave book is “The Bad Beginning,” the first book in the 10-book series, “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Lemony Snicket while Gaelan, also 20, prefers “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’Engle.

Vanessa Hudgens, Alyson Michalka and Gaelan Connell are hitting the big screen TODAY in Bandslam!
JustJaredJr.com caught up with the three stars recently and we’re giving you a sneak peek into one of our interviews. Check out what Vanessa, 20, dished:
JJJ: Sa5m is a very tortured soul, but your hair was perfect and your makeup was perfect; why did they keep your hair that way?
Vanessa Hudgens: If I would’ve had it my way, I would’ve done the Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club - just the craziness all over the place - but hey, it’s okay. It’s one step closer to something.
JJJ: Were you sad you never got to go to CBGB?
Vanessa: I was sad! We got to build our own set and it was the exact replica of CBGB. Even though it was fake, I still felt the history. That was the closest, I think, a lot of people my age are gonna get to CBGB! I felt pretty special.
JJJ: How was the kissing scene with Gaelan?
Vanessa: It was awesome! I love it - I think it’s hysterical. We rehearsed it several times because it’s extremely choreographed and all about the right timing. But it was funny; it was fun.
JJJ: When you see pictures like this (Vanessa and Gaelan kissing) what do you think about it?
Vanessa: I go “noooooo, they got it before you got to see it in the movie!” I don’t kiss Gaelan on my own time. But yeah, it sucks when people get to see things when it’s not finished because I feel it ruins the end result, but whatever. There’s not much you can do about it.

Vanessa Hudgens has amazing friends.
The 20-year-old’s Bandslam costars Aly Michalka and Charlie Saxton recently chatted with E Online to defend their pal against her many online haters.
Charlie, who plays Bug in the rockin’ flick, shared, “It’s so totally uncool. It’s like, come on. Give me a break. She’s such a sweet person, such a nice girl. She really doesn’t deserve all the negativity that she’s getting.”
Aly added, “I think that it’s about people being hard on people just to be hard on them. It’s hard to avoid that sometimes…I think it really is based on that and I think maybe her being with Zac [Efron].”
What great friends! Bandslam hits theaters TOMORROW, August 14th.

A bare-chested Alex Pettyfer looks nothing like the Beast in this new still from his upcoming movie Beastly.
In the modern-day tale of Beauty and The Beast, the 19-year-old plays lead Kyle Kingson, a popular kid with a mean streak who ditches a date. His date, Kendra, turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell.
The flick also stars Vanessa Hudgens as Kyle’s true love, Mary-Kate Olsen as witch Kendra and Neil Patrick Harris as tutor Will.
Beastly is expected to hit theaters in July 2010.
