In the upcoming episode “Detention Election,” Justin’s (Henrie) chances at becoming Student Body President are put in jeopardy after someone wallpapers Principal Laritate’s (Bill Chott) office with posters from Justin’s campaign and he is accused of masterminding the prank.

Meanwhile, Alex (Gomez) befriends Stevie (Hayley Kiyoko), a rebellious new girl in school, and Jerry (David DeLuise), Max (Jake T. Austin) and Harper (Jennifer Stone) get stuck on a Ferris wheel during their trip to Coney Island.

In the upcoming episode “Positive Alex,” Alex (Gomez) has a crush on George (guest star Austin Butler), the school’s band leader, but is unable to get his attention because he’s turned off by her sour attitude and unenergetic cheers at the school basketball games.

Determined to get George to ask her to the school dance, she casts a spell on herself to become a positive person, but Alex’s new-found optimism turns out to be too much when she starts cheering for the opposing team.

Meanwhile, Justin (David Henrie) has joined the basketball team and is trying to get a big senior moment captured on video.

Cutie Bella Thorne snaps a pic with Selena Gomez on the set of Wizards of Waverly Place earlier this week.

Bella, 13, revealed on her Twitter that she would be guest starring on the Emmy award winning series, but didn’t give out any other details about her appearance. All Bella would say was that Selena was a “good singer” and David DeLuise, who plays Jerry, is a “funny guy.”

In an all-new one-hour episode “Wizards vs. Werewolves” welcomes back Bridgit Mendler and new cast member Gregg in a top-secret storyline from the show.

In anticipation of the new episode, DisneyChannel.com just started a “creature creator” application online that invites users to upload and morph their own photo into the assorted otherworldly characters seen in the episode — a wizard, vampire, werewolf or mummy. The 18-year-old British actor laughed about the compliments he gets about his accent. Gregg dished, “I get girls asking me all the time…on the plane, anywhere. I just say whatever they want. (laughs)”

Selena shared, “Working with Gregg is really awesome. He does play my boyfriend and I can’t complain. He’s really cute and very charming.”

Even guest star Bridgit Mendler piped in, “Gregg — he’s a cutie. His accent is really cool too.”

Selena, 17, recently caught up with TVGuide.com and revealed that she can’t choose just one favorite spell they use on the show. She shared, “Each of the spells I use makes one of the cast members go, “Man, I wish I could do that.” I mean, what kid wouldn’t wish they could rewind time or be invisible? I love that we’re able to bring all those things to life on the show.”
