Zac Efron is going from cemetery worker to PR assistant???

Looks like the 21-year-old actor may be trading in his flip flops for loafers in first-time author Robert Rave’s debut novel, Spin, according to E Online.

The flick, still in talks, is about Taylor Green, a recent college grad from the Midwest who works for one of New York City’s most wretched publicists. Taylor finds himself mixed up in shady dealings involving lots of sex, drugs and lies. The book hits shelves Tuesday, August 18th.

Zac Efron presses his cell phone to his ear as he continues to film on his upcoming drama, The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud, in Vancouver on Wednesday morning (August 12).

The 21-year-old Teen Choice Award winner plays the title character in the upcoming flick about a young man so stricken with grief at his younger brother’s death that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery where his brother is buried.

Earlier in the week, Zac and costar Charlie Tahan were spotted filming an award scene on the docks.

Zac Efron bumps fists with on-screen son Sterling Knight after putting Hunter Parrish in his place in this deleted scene from the 17 Again DVD.

The 21-year-old actor just picked up the Teen Choice Award Surfboard for his role as Mike O’Donnell/Mark Gold in the comedy — out on DVD and Blu-ray NOW.

Zac Efron is all smiles as he continues filming his new movie The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud in Vancouver on Tuesday morning (August 11).

The 21-year-old actor arrived on set with a cup of tea in hand and was almost knocked over by a prop cart. Zac quickly laughed it off and finished filming a few scenes on a yacht out at sea.

Zac and costar Charlie Tahan seem to be receiving some sort of award on the docks.

We already have pictures of Zac Efron returning to Vancouver but these are the pics of the 21-year-old actor departing for Los Angeles via Vancouver International Airport on Saturday (August 8) in Canada.

Last night, Zac picked up three surfboards at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. He said, “I’m gonna put them with all of the rest of the surfboards. I hang them in my garage above my car.”

Zac Efron and his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens arrive in Vancouver, Canada together late Sunday night (August 9).

Earlier in the evening at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Zac picked up three surfboards — Choice Movie Rockstar Moment (17 Again), Choice Movie Actor Comedy (17 Again) and Choice Movie Actor Music/Dance (High School Musical 3: Senior Year).

Vanessa is in town to prepare for Sucker Punch. Zac is currently shooting his new movie, The Death And Life Of Charlie St Cloud.

The 21-year-old actor won for his role as Mike O’Donnell/Mark Gold in 17 Again. Congrats, Zac!
